In a recent interview, Chincila said that singling live outside in the street (busking) with Ren was the first time she had ever done that. She shares she was so nervous about it but then Ren was so supportive & reassuring & that she just loved it so much.

Couldn't have said it better myself! Our generation is so lucky to have experienced such awesome music and it's great to see the younger generation experience it for the first time. Ren & Chinchilla have such great chemistry. It's really rare to find new artist I just fall in love with. I hope many more collaborations are in the works. 🤍

Thanks Jen Have you not done Ren X Chinchilla 'I forgot how to be me (live)'? Cant see it in your listings and yet its even better than chalk outlines for my money. Unbelievably moving tribute song to Rens best mate Joe, who took his own life many years ago and left an indelible mark on Ren ever since. Its beautiful and you will love it.

I like the way Ren says “I like that last bit so much” at the end after Chinchilla practically drowns his voice out with the power of hers. So sweet and generous of him. They are both great musicians and (from interviews) seem to be lovely people too. 😊

Sad that it wasn't their live version of "How To Be Me". That is the best songs they have together in my opinion, and I want to see your reaction to that song after watching your reaction to the live version of Chalk Outlines. PLEASE drop a reaction video to "How To Be Me" the Live version was recorded on the bridge where Ren's best friend John Hughes unfortunately committed suicide on, the song was dedicated to him.

I'm going to be hammered for this comment but I'm a big boy now and not scared to tell my truth. I felt that some of the harmonies in this song just did not work, sounding slightly off key which spoiled parts of the song for me. Someone who knows about music theory might be able to explain why I felt that way, but sadly, I was cringing at times, I really was. Having been following Ren since January and Chinchilla not long afterwards this was the first time I didn't finish hearing a song feeling it was amazing. Yesterday, I watched Chinchilla doing "Fingers", the live version and at one point in the song I was almost brought to tears by her performance, so coming to this song after just being soooo moved yesterday, was a real downer. It won't stop me from listening to either of them in the future; one small disappointment out of dozens of top tier performances can be forgiven I reckon.

We are the same age and im SO WITH YOU!!! I opened and held a door for an older woman like i was taught to do as a child and i was also holding it for ,2 other women who confronted me and asked if i thought the OLDER WOMAN couldnt open the door herself and before i WENT 80S OLD SCHOOL TOXIC LOL THE OLDER WOMAN CAME TO MY DEFENCE AND SHUT THEM UP SO FAST BUT I FELT I HAD THE ROPES AT MY BACK AND WAS IN A FIGHT IR FLIGHT AND AN IRISH BOSTON MAN DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO TAKE FLIGHT. ITS PROBABLY WHY WERE STILL HERE. LOLOLOL
