I lost a sale from not handling this objection with enough finesse a couple of months ago. I offer testimonials and even live calls with a couple of our members BUT I never said "Let's pretend you speak with them, done your research etc - What would happen then?" This is such a fabulous refinement and I now understand how to 'tease' out the REAL objection and how to overcome it. Can't wait until I come across this again and use my new communication style. Thanks

Fascinating. I remember hearing something from a guest lecturer at college once: "Trust in a business relationship is equivalent to Love in a romantic relationship; it's the ultimate expression of that relationship's success." I'm not a corporate guy, I'm a Hollywood guy. My goal is to have my own TV show one day, but the more videos of yours that I watch involving the technique of closing, the more I'm curious to implement them in things like assembling film crews and pitching shows. I wouldn't be surprised if there was more crossover than not.

There are different levels of "I need more time to do more research". You probably have to think about it longer if you're buying a big purchase like a house or going into JV, as opposed to buying a $20 book or something. I do agree that if somebody says "Trust me", they are almost always lying and have something they aren't telling you.
