Netflix legit did a power move taking Cobra Kai. My dad had watched all the 80s Karate Kid and was just head over heels when the show first aired on YT red, now he is anxious for the next season. Damn, what a brilliant show this is.

Yeh, I heard about cobra kai a few years back but I didn’t expect much because it was a KZfaq Original. I decided to give it a try and it’s one of my favorite shows right now

2024 being the best year to be a Karate Kid fan, 40th anniversary for the original, Cobra Kai season 6 and new Karate Kid film releasing this year.

Moreover, this show is what our genres were back in our school/college days where the show would have a decent story but so many different attributes added to it. One example but not the best one, would be Teen Wolf/TVD, where tere was a story along with sh!t take of romances but the fights, the family politics and the gore made it worth watching. That's what today's shows are missing. Now it's all about making a story with continuous plot twists with no side attributes playing a part.

Exactly. That’s why I like cobra kai because it’s not just about karate. It has aspects like betrayal, family values, relationship problems, and more. Netflix did well when they took over but KZfaq also did great with the first 2 seasons.

@@dummyboydell i found season 5 a bit cheesy at times but Season 4 was absolutely masterclass .. especially the last two tournament match episodes.. that had great fight choreography and cinematography

@@9kaustav yeh, im still in the early stages of the season, but I get what you mean. Also some of the scenes in S5 seem a bit exaggerated but S3 and S4 were some of my favorites
