Comedian Jeff Allen, wasn't always a happy, well-adjusted comedian. At one point, he was a victim of alcohol and drug abuse, living a depressing life and struggling to get by from day to day. Finally, the threat of losing the one person who had been his touchstone through those struggles made him turn to a new source of strength.
Jeff Allen met Tami in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. She was a club waitress. They fell in love and got married, but as the drinking and drugs slowly tore Jeff's career apart, their relationship suffered as well. The low point came when, desperate to feed his family, Jeff couldn't even get a job delivering pizza. After years of rage, sadness and pain, Jeff and Tami decided to call it quits. With divorce papers signed, they were 10 minutes from the courthouse when they decided to try again. With two children, and barely any career left, comedian Jeff Allen hit rock bottom, turned to Alcoholics Anonymous, recovered himself, and through generous help from a total stranger, found comfort in God.
Comedian Jeff Allen shows why he's regarded as the world's funniest, most inspiring comedian in this vulnerable performance. Speaking on Fathers Day at the Victory World Church in Atlanta, Georgia, Jeff Allen talks about his battle with alcoholism and rage, to finally finding Jesus Christ and a new kind of peace. Jeff Allen is doing what he's always dreamed of doing: making people laugh, now Christian comedian Jeff Allen stands up for God.

This 3 part testimony is fantastic in whole, but the part where Jeff shared how God used his love of Golf to bring him to the man who would introduce him to Christ's Love hits me between the eyes because (as I have been watching the 10 part testimony of the man who created the Yeshua Network) God knew that my love of comedy would bring me to Jeff's testimony of how he came to Jesus!

Very powerful indeed. The main reason people kill themselves is because they're desperate for the pain in their lives to stop, and they've been tricked into believing there's no other answer. They're so burdened by guilt and shame, that they just give up. But the good news is that so long as you're alive, you have a choice to make about God and His love. It's the most important choice you'll ever make; don't take it lightly.

I feel those feelings, excited at amazing things I come across in the Bible. Or that feeling like you could cry, when you hear the words of the love of God. I have Jesus in my Heart. I called out to him one night, and have had that heart since. But I am so scared to repent, what if I cannot keep my word? What if I fall back into bad ways?

All folly, our selfish ego, the I,me,mine and for what? Remember "The Lord is a Good Shepherd, Kind Shepherd, Loving Shepherd, He maketh me to lie down beside still waters, He restoreth my soul. Thou Art With Me." Lift up thine eyes. They know not what they do for they know not who they are. Love them all. Compassion but not pity. God Bless Us All.

To those of you making false assumptions on Christianity, please do some research. Please do some research. Google Got Questions? This is a great site to go to. As for the person comparing Jesus to Stalin and Hitler? You are way off your mark. Stalin and Hitler KILLED millions. Jesus gave His life FOR EVERYONE. THAT'S love.

Except that no one can be commanded to love. The premise is absurd. Love has no meaning unless it is offered freely.
@Ericadbury

Love is expressed. If I say, for example, to my dad that he never loved me, I mean he never expressed it. If it's not expressed it is not lived out. It's unknown and it cannot make any difference. Have you ever being told the right thing to do and said 'hey, don't give me a command'? . God can command because he is the meaning of love. Nothing good in this world can be achieved without love. Thank God he made it a command. What were you expecting? That the Creator of the world would communicate a doubtful thing and leave people hanging on basic truths? No, the greatest command is clear cut because God wouldn't say 'maybe if you feel like, love here and there. Surely some good can come out of random love'. No, He said 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind'. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself'. Love!

God made you special and in His image, He doesn't make trash, it's true. He planned your whole life before you were even a thought, and He loves you more then you'll ever know, same with everyone. He loves you and will accept you the way you are and will change your life in you let Him into it. He offers eternal life, question is, will you accept? (You don't have to answer me, just ask the question in your mind)

To those who say god is fake; he may well be. I myself do not believe in god but rather in a collective consciousness of the universe. But I can see how Christianity has brought hope and healing to many. And I believe there is something to that. I will never tell someone that their god who has so helped them does not exist. For to them God does exist.

Sarah Meg The mistake you make is in the statement, “their God.” God is everyone’s God. It is their perception of God that you have the problem. If God is omniscient and all powerful, then our perception of God is at least 1/100,000,000 of the truth. Science is slowly discovering that the Universe has a design and there is a developmental force behind it. It is not as random as the scientists first believed.

(Cont) God gave us rules for our good and benefit, not to control us. God sent down plagues in Egypt only after Pharaoh kept saying no. As for the other times? God's wisdom is at a level we will never understand. But He knows what He is doing and it is ultimately for our good. "Things work for the good of those who love God." Romans 8:28 God is love

it only become to late when you die. the bible itself is a love letter to us, it points out the love of God.. e.g. " God is good, his love endures forever," "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." and so on. God did destroy in the bible, but not because people would disagree with him, but because of their complete wickedness. see Genesis 18:16-33 and 19:1-29.

To @referew, you are a fool to not believe in Jesus. Like Jeff here I too was an agnostic and through God's merciful grace I too became a born again Christian. My life has never been the same. God has changed me in ways that can only be God and not circumstances. God is real and has provided salvation for all mankind through faith in Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord.
