So many iconic moments and quotes in this episode; 1) Hershel’s quote of the resurrection of Christ 2) the reveal of everyone being infected 3) Rick going off on everyone 4) Daryl stepping up as ricks number 2 5) that character at the end with the two pet walkers Phenomenal season finale. I also think Loris reaction was based off the fact that Carl killed someone, even if it was a walker Shane, that’s a hard thing to accept. Not that it’s valid to take her anger on Rick.

About the Lori scene this is my take on the subject based on the scene alone and also one interview Sarah Wayne Callies (Lori’s actress) did way back when S2 ended. Lori isn’t actually mad at Rick when Rick says he killed Shane she’s kinda shocked and you know kinda sad after all Shane did matter to her and to Rick as well when Rick says he wanted to kill Shane she’s scared that he may be turning into the new Shane (and that final scene with the beginning of the Ricktatorship didn’t help it either) But what really destroys her is to learn that Carl was the one to put him down she’s blaming both herself and Rick for not being able to protect Carl from the horrors of this new world we can clearly see how much Carl is changing and now he had to kill someone who meant a lot to him at that moment she’s feeling so many things and she can’t process it she doesn’t want anyone touching her or talking to her she just need a moment to herself so she can take a breath and process everything. You can see it all in the facial and corporal expressions of Lori you can see she’s still close to Rick and absorbing all the information that Rick is giving to her I killed him/ I wanted to kill him however that bigger reaction only happens after Rick says Carl put him down you can see that’s when she goes away and don’t want Rick to touch her she wasn’t scared or angry at him she just needed a moment to take a breath and process everything.

If you loved this season your going to absolutely love season 3. Season 3-7 I’d say is the peak

Lori is not upset because Rick killed Shane but she’s upset because Carl had to put him down.

I'm not mad at Lori for feeling her feelings in that moment and reacting badly, but for someone who bases their whole ass character on being a good wife and mother, she sure did immediately abandon Rick emotionally in his time of need. This man just murdered his best friend, his partner, his BROTHER, because of her. And she is literally the one who whispered in his ear "He's dangerous, Rick, and he won't stop." She put out the hit and then shunned and shamed the man she professes to love so damn much. Nuh-uh. Unacceptable. If you need to process, you say that but make sure he knows you're there for him OR SOMETHING. That was an irreparable choice she made.

Guys you just met Michonne the best character in TWD ever. And yeah it was a prison at the end you are not ready for the next season 😊

just keep in mind in one of the flashbacks lori complains that rick never yells at her he always keeps his composure. her reaction is that intense bc she’s not used to seeing him like that it shows how he changed so drastically after having to kill shane. & she’s mostly mad that carl had to shoot someone. but i can’t imagine the stress rick going thru the group is wild for putting that on him 🙄

We talk a lot about Rick & Shane’s relationship, or Rick and Lori’s, but Rick & Hershel’s relationship is so good to witness. They have a mutual respect for each other that contrast a lot with what they both have been through.

Lori's reaction can be a bit confusing but its mostly shock and hearing that Carl shot someone, especially someone that he'd known all of his life. She wasn't there and the news of it all overwhelmed and scared her. I hated that moment for Rick though because what he really needed at that moment was compassion and to be understood.

Out of the people in the walking dead universe I wouldve lived longer with Rick than with anyone else. A distinction of a great leader is 1. Keeping the group together. 2. Getting their hands dirty 3. Always keeping the morale up 4. Making the hard choices even if the people hate you for it. 5. Making people understand to think and know what common sense is.

1 Rick killing Shane was a must for him to become the leader he is now and he still hasnt reached his ultimate form in Season 3. 2 Lori doesnt have any right to be mad at Rick when she was the main cause of the riff between Rick and SHane. 3 Lori is the reason Carl had to put SHane down. He was at home with her and again, she wasnt watching him. This was the final straw with me not liking Lori at all anymore. Season 3 has some of the best moments of the whole series. Everyone starts to grow in this season both as fighters, leaders and people.

You guys have no idea how much I look forward to your Walking Dead reactions. Your channel is extremely underrated and you need more attention. Keep it up!

In a TV zombie apocalypse, a crossbow is badass. If there were a real zombie apocalypse, a cross bow would be good for about a minute.

I think Lori was more upset that Carl had to put down Shane, but the way they filmed/wrote the scene made it seem like she was also mad at/scared of Rick for killing Shane.

Mostly everyone is saying Lori isn't necessarily mad at Rick for killing Shane but rather mad bc Carl put him down, my thing is Carl wasnt even supposed to be there! SHE was supposed to be watching him, she took NO responsibility for that, then with all that going on, with Rick telling her how Shane was, hell when her putting the words in Ricks ear about Shane being dangerous, you act like you sont want him to touch you at THAT moment?? Nall, that ain't it.

When Rick was telling Lori about killing Shane and how he came after him... she realized in that moment that it was her conversation with Shane that pushed him to try to kill Rick... she was feeling ill over it but when Rick said... so bluntly and coldly that Carl 'put him down'... THAT is what pissed Lori off at Rick. It really didn't have anything to do with Shane being dead or Rick killing him.

At 18:58 you say you're surprised that Hershel took the loss of his son and daughter well, are you talking about two of the characters we lost in this episode? If you are, those people were Patricia (Otis's wife), and Jimmy (Beth's boyfriend) who both didn't have family relation to Hershel.

Jimmy had to stop the Rv so Rick and Carl could get off, he couldn’t drive the Rv with Rick and Carl on the roof, rip Dale, Shane, Sophia, Otis, Jimmy, Patricia and Randal who died this season

Hello 👋 Another awesome video, I felt that they should have had a rendezvous picked out with some emergency items hidden there, especially in a world such as this, but in this case they at least had the Sophia sign on the highway to fall back on, I personally feel they could have waited in vehicles pointed in the direction they are going to leave, and then at least given Andrea a bit more time to get there since she was on foot, 😏👍 In an interview Sarah Wayne Callie’s (Lori) said she felt that Lori was more in shock about Carl putting Shane down than being mad at Rick, but in my personal opinion if she was in shock she would not have acted the way she did while looking at Rick like he is a monster of the lowest kind, I can see the backing away being shock not slapping his hand away and looking like he was going to murder them all, especially after the things she whispered in his ear all about Shane possibly being a threat, 🤔 Not quite sure how Rick, Carl and Hershel missed Andrea considering Hershel was staring out the back window at the loss of the farm, 😏 Fun fact, the barn was built just to burn it at the end of this season, 👍 Have a safe and wonderful weekend, 👋😀👋

I might be wrong but I dont necessarily think Lori was mad at Rick for killing Shane, she knew he had his reasons. I think Lori was mad at Rick for letting Carl shoot Shane as a walker. More of the mind set of how can you let our son do that, because Shane was also sorta like a father figure to Carl too. I view Lori as that over protective mom that would react that way. Lori only reacted in shock when Rick told Lori that after he killed Shane and he came back as a walker that Carl put him down. However, yes I think Lori still was upset that Shane had to die even thought he didnt give Rick much of a choice. But its primarily because Carl killed walker Shane.

This was one of the very best episodes if only for the death of Shane. And you can see there finally that Lori did love Shane. Her face when she threw off Rick.s hand, oh burrrn!! That's when Rick knew that she loved Shane and it reflects in the next season as her pregnancy advances. Andrea tho, you're going to see just what a weak ass pos she is, and the person with the samurai sword I am certain will become one of your all's most favorite characters! As for Carol, you wouldn't believe who she turns into; she ends up being the biggest hero of them all Can't wait to see the next episodes with you!

This season is one of the best FOR SURE, The acting, the feeling, when you watch it it's like you're watching people you know. Looking forward to the next season and the reaction from you guys.

I would have been angry at Rick for keeping that to himself. It would have hurt no one to tell them what Jenner said. If someone was injured or sick they wouldn’t know to keep them under watch or something and if they died could have attacked the group. Rick was extremely short sited in this case.
