This is part of ScoutCrafter's ( / scoutcrafter ) and 357MagDad's Stanley 199 Challenge where you take a Stanley 199 utility knife and customize it.
For mine I wanted to make the knife look classic and well used. To darken the texturing I used Birchwood Casey Aluminum Black and then sanded the sides smooth down to where started to blend with the texturing. I then made a sheath out of thrifted leather from an old purse.
