They look wonderful! Also it's nice to see more Seattle soapers on here. I am in Lynnwood WA. Bye for now, Lori

I'm sorry you went through so much stress making it. I think it still looks stunning. Don't be so hard on yourself. Maybe your a perfectionist as many of us soapers are. Good job

I think it turned out great even if it was not what you planned. I wish my soaping screw-ups turned out so beautiful.

Hi Cindee, I use a soft micro fiber cloth, spritz it wet with 91 or 99% rubbing alcohol and rub the white out. Most of the time it works real well for me. I started adding water to Brambleberry's TD that I bought and boy has that helped a whole bunch!

I love the look of the soap, it turned out awesome! As an FYI, I've been using Brambleberry's TD in water and haven't had any issues with speckling (I did when I tried it with oil).

The soap turned out quite lovely. I'm glad you're happy with it. That is a lot of money tied up in a batch that size and I know the anxiety about making a costly mistake but you pulled it out and these soap are beautiful and will fly off your display at the show. Much success! 😊

Oh it is awesome. Work of art! Amazing!!! Tel me how do you polish it out? I love Brambleberry TD. I am ditching the one I have and going back to it.

Beautiful !!!! May I ask how you polish the spots out ??

why do you pour your lye solution in thirds?
@RiverCountySoapworks9 жыл бұрын
I do that for fast moving fragrances. It just one more "trick" to give time to work. With this essential oil blend if I didn't do that I would not be able to get a swirl in. Soap cool, use your stick blender sparingly, add your fragrance to the warmed oils and add your lye solution in thirds and you can work most any fast moving fragrance. HTH, Robin

***** cool! I've been making soap for EONS and never heard that one! I have warmed fast moving fragrances to help slow them down a bit too! Not discounting your water is a good too. This batch is still beautiful, but it sucks when it doesn't turn out EXACTLY as you envisioned :)

Say a prayer before you start I think you were rushing to much.
