Another #musical, another crying me. I can't help it. #DearEvanHansen is coming to theaters soon. #benplatt and his angelic voice will make you cry too. #movieMusicals make my heart soar!

I just rewatched Pitch Perfect and he is so good in it. I can’t wait to see it.

I think it is very important for this story that they do explain most of the plot in the trailer. I’ve heard of people that saw the musical, not knowing the plot and were very turned off by it, because it is such a heavy story. So that’s probably why they tell basically the whole story in the trailer, to let people prepare themselves for what they are going to see.

I'm a volunteer usher at a theater and we did have patrons leave because of the theme of the show I always try to find out the storyline and listen to the music before an act comes to town so I'm familiar with the show. The tickets are not cheap and to leave a show early because you don't like the topic is silly. There are people that would love to see the show.

Yeah that is silly. I’ve only left a show once and that was because I had to pick my mom up at the airport. It was Grease and it wasn’t very good, so I wasn’t upset about it. I would love to be an usher and see all the shows though. So glad theater is about to come back. I’ve missed it.

@@WatchwithMarcella check with your local theater. I know the ones near me are always looking for volunteers. Getting to see a few shows a month for showing people to their seats or taking tickets is a fantastic job. I love it!

I also heard that they added a third act with more repercussions than the show. (Just a rumor, but the lack of consequences in the show gets a lot of backlash from the mental health community at the very least. So I can see that happening.) Edit to add: I plan to see it on Saturday with my mom. I saw a slime tutorial last year of the OBC so I will compare and contrast.

Every time I hear the music or watch the trailer I watch the reactions of the trailer I cried my eyes out because I know how it feels and I believe it is his hair because on the interview he said he was growing it out for it

What an awesome, genuine, moving reaction vid! The trailer does a great job outlining the major plot points, but believe me, there is TONS more to the story. I'm obsessed with this show, and after watching the trailer a few hundred times, you don't even notice Ben's hair after awhile lol. If you're interested, they've started running a television commercial advertising the trailer that features "Waving Through a Window" as the background music. It's posted on my channel and it shows a few additional scenes of how that song will be performed in the movie. But don't worry, it doesn't give away any more plot :)

When you said you hated Juliane Moore I was like whaaaat? Then I remembered the actors I can't stand and I was like oh yeah no you're right sometimes it just doesn't vibe with you.

I like your video, but I think you need to look at the video again. Ben Platt looks like a kid to me.If nobody knew how old he really is, this would not be a topic of conversation. It would be different if say Maggie Smith was gonna play the lead in A Star is Born with Bradley. I never look at movies and spend time trying to figure how old someone is and should they be playing that character.

That’s totally possible. I might not be able to suspend my disbelief on that one but I still think it looks amazing. I can’t wait to see another trailer.
