DIY Family Treehouse Build: Part 4 | Wall insulation and a scrap wood fire

9 ай бұрынAnother weekend with on and off rain. I worked on a few last things before we can start the interior wood paneling, like electrical conduit and insulation. For now the insulation won't be that important since we don't have plans to have any heat at first, but it may be something we add in the future.

great treehouse and video thanks! i plan my first treehouse and wanted to know what size the wood beams should be so the insulation fit in? 4x10cm?

Hi, thank you!. We used standard sizes for walls in the US. The walls are 2x4 inches (actual measurements are 1.5 x 3.5 inches), so similar.

at 4:07, i see two of the trees (duh). have you considered putting a hammock there?

It's possible, but the wide angle camera makes it looks like the distance is bigger than it really is. I think it's only 6 or 7 feet, so the straps would be pretty short. We have a hammock chair hanging from under the treehouse beams but it isn't shown close up in videos.
