I had a guy tell me that the swastikas on her wall were "just part of punk culture". Note-- I actually was involved in the punk scene in our city and... ive seen a skinhead wearing a swastika get the sh1t kicked out of him and forced out of the venue. But he knew what she looked like, she was super pretty, so she couldn't possibly be a bad person at all) and also hung out in chat rooms as the "token black girl n4zi". It was insane. I like Doja Cat, I mostly like her old stuff from 2014-2021, but this whole ordeal has made me question myself and how I feel about Doja. I saw in the beginning, she'd always joke and have fun with fans and be more positive. My two guesses are either A. She got pushed too soon into fame with 'Mooo!' Going viral on tiktok, B. Her overworking and the constant attention practically made her sour to fame, or C. And this is a conclusion some in the black community are coming to, she has internalized racism as well. Because if Doja was an indie artist like most of tiktoks upcoming artists are in this day and age, she'd probably feel more comfortable and not be turning into a pretty awful person right now imo. She got pushed WAY too soon into the limelight and she was getting the hang of it but I think the pressure is now getting to her. Also, I kinda blame Dr. Luke for most of this because as we all know, he was directing her videos (he directed Say So) and he and her label were probbably overworking her, in which shes stated that she was tired and wanted to take a break, take photos and do things on her own free will without anyone making her but then had to rectract and clarify herself probably out of worry that something bad may happen. As much as i love doja and her music, she really needs to give herself a reality check. Theres nothing more embarrassing than a celebrity getting so drunk in their own fame that they end up doing shit that will either get them arrested or completely irrelevant. I hope she wakes up
