True story: This is in Southampton, England. My mate and I were walking down the street to go to a mates house. I had some weed on me (less than a gram). Anyway, walking down the street and I look behind me and I see two coppers walking quite briskly towards us. My heart sinks (I'm around 16yo) so we turn the corner and I shove that weed into my boxers... The next moment a hand grabs my shoulder. It's the two coppers. They said we looked suspicious so they followed us. We weren't, just some kids walking down the street, and they searched us and asked our names etc. Didn't find the weed and they literally said to us: "it's a good job you slowed down, because we can't run in these uniforms." I've always remembered that... It's why you could just leg it as kids if you were doing something wrong like underage drinking or something. Growing up back in the day is a lot different to how it is now

I now reside in Florida and Florida is tough on crime. Most of the DAs do not mess around. Last year, however, the governor had to remove a DA for their job because the office refused to lock up criminals. This happens in big cities like Orlando, Tampa and and Miami.

I once saw the aftermath of someone running from cops across the highway, not pretty. But the police chase in this video reminds me of a real life version of the chase in Blues Brothers, but more over the top.

That trucker must need a new pair of pants. Having a cop car randomly come out of the woods onto the highway somehwat cutting them off. With another car following it not knowing if it will continue and then noticing a random person in the road. The truck can't stop, it can't really go left or right. They just has to hope and make very minor corrections to the shit show that was presented to them.

So don't get me wrong, Florida has plenty of crazies, but the FL man stereotype is significantly perpetuated because of Florida's "Sunshine" Law which makes access to police videos and criminal records easily attainable even while investigations are ongoing. This is a significant reason for why there are so many online videos involving Florida idiots Also, I live in Pensacola, and we have had a MASS amount of interstate migration primarily from California and New York.

After the dog attack it all went south. Holy sh!t that driver should have just commited to standing there and not reverse while his partner is getting out. Also how do 2 cops make the decision around 10:20 to just drive over a lane like that with trucks going that speed being that close. This video is insane! lol. The police have the money, and their training is still crappy. I don't think throwing more money at police departments is going to help them. They need higher standards and they'll get better recruits. Almost no police departments are being defunded.
