Aemond and Alicent didn’t do anything wrong. I won’t let Team Black gaslight me.

Aemond gets bullied for not having a dragon, so he takes the first opportunity to get a grown one (the one his grandfather claimed, btw). Bullying problem solved? Nope he's ambushed 4 on 1, gets his eye cut out because one brought a knife, then JUST as his stitches are being finished and his wound finally closed, his sister demands he immediately gets tortured about a true statement he said while defending himself, his father turns on him and doesn't even care that he's been permanently disfigured, and none of his attackers are ever reprimanded for taking his eye... Even though Lucerys had YEARS to apologize, he never does and in fact laughs in Aemond's face about it at a family dinner. People say Luke was so precious and he didn't deserve to die. Personally I think he just played a stupid game and won a stupid prize.

Viserys should have immediately disinherited Jace for pulling the knife and Lucerys for cutting Aemond’s eye out. Aemond is mutilated for life. Look how they massacred my boy. Viserys is a bitch. Plus you’re right about Seasmoke. Big plot hole there. You can really tell the superiority of the book compared to the show. Even with GRRM involved. I do love how team black supporters act like Alicent is completely unreasonable for fearing what Rhaenyra and Daemon might do, especially to her kids, after this episode. She threw her brother under the bus hard, all to save face over an insult no one would even know was made if she didn't make a big deal about it. Then Laenor 'dies' and they immediately marry, Rhaenyra even acknowledges people will fear them for that. Not to mention earlier with the whole Otto being fired because she felt threatened and later with Vaemond being unceremoniously dispatched. I'd be terrified of them.

If you think about it Rhaenyra's children with Daemon are bastards too. Laenor is still alive and he didn't divorce with her so Rhaenyra's marriage with Daemon is illegimate so Aegon and Viserys are bastards too. 5 bastard children in total

Rhaenyra feels like she’d be a pain in the ass thorn in your side type of person, that type of person you wouldn’t want on the throne, but I keep this to myself around my family because a lot of them are feminist. Having this show take place in a medieval setting would have to be historical accurate, SJWs, PCs and Feminists did not exist in the past especially the medieval times. Rhaenyra feels like the kind of person who would waste a lot of time partying, making a lot of bastard children and ignoring adviser to the throne to a point that Westeros would collapse and basically fall to the next invader to your lands. The past maybe a terrible place but that is how it is, putting political correct stuff in a time would make it historical inaccurate and in real life you wouldn’t want a PC, SJW or Feminist in charge because your country would go to hell, basically become a nightmarish place were people accuse people and refuse to listen to the other side of things.

aemond was right and bullied in this scene.they all ganged up on him and started beating him for no reason.beala and her sister were acting like spoilt brats claiming the dragon was theirs when dragons are not inheritance! Also she said vhagar was their mothers but laenas mother didnt have vhagar and yet she got vhagar so its clear it doesnt work that way.the sisters baela and laena were acting like self entitled spoilt brats who started bullying and beating aemond and tbh i expected rhaenyra sons to be better than to support their cousins when they are clearly wrong.vhagar is rightfully aemonds and it was unfair to him.but then again i havent seen this show.. Even Emma D'Arcy sympathized with Alicent when Aemond got his eye gouged. As she so perfectly said, Rhaenyra in that moment learned she could weaponize "treason" to her benefit.

Wow, everything you explained in this video is so accurate. I'm definitely Team Green because team Black is so messy and problematic. When HOD first premiered i was a total Team Black fan, and if i was to be honest i think i was only team Black because very body was team black and saying that Alicent was wrong. However, i continued watching and i realized how dysfunctional team black was and how far they could descend into madness! I mean i think people forget that Dameon killed his first wife in literal cold blood just like how Rhaneryha did Leanor and did not care how anybody felt, and just like Dameon had other affairs. Then not to mention at the wedding Rhaneyeya disrespects the house Verleryans by flirting with Dameon. Honestly i could go on and on about all the things Dameon and Rhaneyra both did that was just awful!

Great video! I wouldn't say I'm for one team or the other as both are understandable, but while I was leaning towards the blacks when reading the book, I'm definitely more into the greens with the TV show and it's nice to find other people who think that way. I think Laenor's escape was a big mistake from the writers tbh. I think their whole plan was just to give him a happy ending, I don't think he's ever coming back into the show (cause that would be one hell of a change), but it meddles too much with the dragon lore we know of and I thought it was a bit ridiculous that he would accept to kill an innocent man in his place while traumatizing his adopted kids and parents by having them think he died horribly. Idk, it just didn't sit very right with me. Also I wish they'd have given us a clear timeline of everything cause it does look like Laena's funeral, Laenor's fake death and Rhaenyra & Daemon's wedding happened on the same week, which is insane lol
