Don’t worry. I’ll show you exactly what to do. And best of all, you’re only gonna need 25 minutes to do it.
Hey! Matt Stirling here from Blue Star Nutraceuticals and today I’ve got a killer full body fat loss circuit that will accelerate your metabolism and help you burn fat faster and easier than ever before - and you get to use dumbbells to do it!

This is the Dumbbell Full Body Fat Loss Circuit! Let’s get to it!
Warm-up
As you know, every great workout starts with a great warmup so take 5 minutes to loosen up and get the blood flowing.
Workout
For this workout you’re gonna do 6 exercises in circuit fashion using 50% of your 1 Rep Max.
For each exercise do as many reps as possible in 30 seconds then take 15 seconds to catch your breath before moving on to the next exercise.
These high intensity intervals create a huge oxygen debt and that debt forces your body to burn calories at an accelerated rate for as long as 38 hours after you’ve finished working out. This phenomenon is called Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption - or EPOC for short - and it’s one of the reasons why this workout is so incredibly effective.
After you finish all 6 exercises, take 2 minutes to rest and rehydrate then do it all over again two more times. And remember, the goal here is to finish in under 25 minutes.
Timer ready? Let’s get to work!
Exercise #1: Front Rack Squat + Step Up
Set up a box or bench around knee height in front of you, grab a heavy pair of dumbbells and hold them in the front rack position at your shoulders. Brace the core, take a big belly breath and squat down for a full range of motion, then drive the heels through the floor and explode back up. Then perform a step up on the box, come back down right into another squat. Repeat, alternating legs each time you step up for the full 30 seconds.
Exercise #2: Clean + Press
With the dumbbells at your thighs, bend the knees, shrug and clean the dumbbells up to the front rack position. Brace the core, drive through the heels and press the weight straight overhead explosively, control the weight back down and repeat as many times as possible before the 30 seconds is up.
Exercise #3: Incline Piston Press
Set up for an incline dumbbell press around 45 degrees, retract the shoulders, plant the feet then alternate pressing up, one arm at a time, back-and-forth so that when one arm reaches the top of the press, the other is right at your chest. Remember to stop just short of lockout at the top and keep constant movement up and down like a piston in an engine.
Exercise #4: Renegade Row
Set up in a plank position with a dumbbell in each hand. Body straight like a board, core braced tight. Keeping your body parallel with the floor, row one dumbbell up to your side without twisting your body - pull with your elbow, squeeze with your lat. Then lower and repeat on the other side. Keep alternating back and forth and keep that core tight for the entire set.
Exercise #5: Hammer Curl + Overhead Extension
Stand up with the dumbbells at your sides, curl both up at the same time using a hammer grip then lift the dumbbells over and behind your head, feel a stretch in the triceps at the bottom then press them up to full lockout overhead, squeezing your triceps at the top. Lower under control back to the starting position, fighting the flex on the way back down. Repeat for the full 30 seconds.
Exercise #6: Farmer’s Walk
If there’s one exercise every man should do - it’s the farmers walk. Because picking a weight up off the ground is great - but if you can’t move it anywhere, then what’s the point. Grip a pair of heavy dumbbells tight, then walk as fast as possible for the full 30 seconds. This is the final exercise, push hard and don’t let them drop!

Sir, you've mentioned '50% of your 1 rep max' at the start of your video. What does it actually mean?

@@ryouko2971 Determine or estimate the weight for each exercise that you could only complete 1 rep at before hitting failure then divide it in half and that's the weight you should use for the exercise in this workout.

They combine 2 ingredients that are very dangerous in Blade. So much so, that Healrh Canada has banned manufacturers from doing so. So what do they sell to Canadians then? Since its a Canadian company. I took just one dose of this stuff and ended up in the E.R with an accelerated heart beat of 125 bpm. Very scary.

This is actually a good workout. 30 seconds is not long enough but it's a good start. One minute intervals would be a super workout for 5 rounds

Everyone has different experience levels and training capacities. If you're pushing yourself with 100% intensity, 30secs is plenty for most. If you can go 1min. Give it a shot. But I suspect if you're able to go for 60secs, you're simply not pushing yourself to your max. 💪🔥

It is certainly okay for back pain, however you have to be careful to execute the moves properly and should stop if anything becomes too uncomfortable

Amazing. Hazing tried it yet and I’m going too. I’ve been looking for something like this. I live in an apt so the farmers walk I’m gonna do a couple of flights (20 steps) for that duration. I need to go buy some heavy dumbbells. Right now I only have 20lbs so I’m gonna go get some 35-40 to use for other of the exercises

Hey! Great material you show on this site:) Wonder if its recommended perform this workout on restdays? Or is it to hard? I do a fullbody split 3 times a week, Classic sets, 6 excercises 3x6-8reps. For muscle growth. On restdays I use to powerwalk or spinning, but I want more! I want to do this workout:) it seems so fun and challangeing! You could definitely add this workout into your mix 1-2 times per week in addition to your 3 day training without negatively impacting your recovery - you could even still work in some powerwalking for lower intensity cardio for burning additional calories without taxing your body's ability to recover too much.

This is meant to replace your cardio session. You should still be performing strength/hypertrophy workouts as your main workouts.

Every Monday I do this workout but I get 8 reps in asap and go to the next exercise as soon as I am ready. This is my favorite WO up to date. I just completed Four55 today.

How would you incorporate HIIT Sprint workouts with this full body routine 3-4 times per week. I really like the choice of exercises in this video but I don't want to give up my Sprint workouts. Anyone have any suggestions that won't put me into overload or susceptible to injuries? Thanks and great video. Cheers.

You would be best to perform your HIIT training either after this workout or on separate days. 10-30mins of HIIT a few times per week will be plenty to help with further fat loss and maintaining strong cardiovascular health & endurance 💪🔥

Hey, first of all thank you, ur videos are extremely useful. I am 35 years old guy, I was an athlete in HS, and pretty much up to my 23s. Now I am almost getting to 300 pounds and I am scared of getting to 40s with my weight and shape. I've been doing this video and the one with dumbbells for arms, and maybe thanks to my past me I am able to finish the courses. Just one question: with this video, I tried to fool myself thinking I was able to do it with more weight, but my body immediately reminded me how out of shape I am. I already lowered the weight to a number that still challenges me, but I am able to complete the course. Except for set 3 exercise 5, I can barely lift my arms at that point, even without any weight. Should I just move my arms in motion? Or go with the pain even if it's just for one rep? (I waive u of any responsibility, I am asking at my own knowledge, please help me with an answer)

Do what you can with the weight. and aim to gradually progress over time. If it gets too heavy towards the end, you can move your arms in place to stay active. It's a process to lose weight and improve your fitness, just like it was a process over many years gaining weight and letting your fitness levels decline. Just keep in mind that EPOC only burns about ~100 calories. It's not a massive difference. If you want to burn the most calories possible in a single exercise session, develop your aerobic base and do long steady-state cardio sessions to compliment metabolic conditioning work. Think of it is as targeting different energy systems (aerobic vs. anaerobic lactic). Yes, aerobic exercise will take longer and burns fewer calories per minute.

Depends on your split and how many days your training, but a great approach would be something like a Push/Pull/Lower split with this Full Body workout added on as a 4th day.

For the best results you want to always be focused on progressive overload with your training, meaning you're challenging your body more each week. However there are many ways to do this rather than just increasing weight. You can incorporate more challenging exercises, perform higher reps or longer duration sets and various intensity techniques you can find on our channel. Try to incorporate a few workouts from the channel into a complete program rather than just following one individual workout over and over.

Hey mate thanks for the workout video. I have big belly and love handles. I’ve done all those exercises but only managed to do 2 rounds. When i tried the 3rd round my lung is suffocated for air and i started to feel nauseated. Any tips to complete this properly? Glad if u could reply me, thanks

It will take time to build up endurance. So do what you can manage for now and gradually over time you'll be able to do more and more. Just keep at it

Most adjustable dumbbells should be perfectly fine to support your bodyweight, but you can always perform these lying face down on a bench.

Depends how hard you work out. The number of calories you burn during your workout really doesn't matter much. It's about stimulating lean muscle growth and paying attention to what you're doing the other 23 hours of the day you're not working out as well.

rest on days you're not training, your body needs time to recover. This is simply one full body workout, you can perform 3-4 days per week, or you can mix and match multiple workouts on our channel for a complete program.

If that's all you have access to - you can step up the volume and perform more total rounds of the workout - but for maximizing muscle mass and strength development - you'd be best to get some adjustable dumbbells or handles you can load plates onto in order to vary the weight required for training 👍💪

Actually those dumbbells I have, are adjustable, and the max I have no it`s 10 kg each, which I believe is enough for beginning with, since my first workout today almost killed me :) In the future when I`ll advance, I will buy more discs. If it challenges you, then you're good to go! If not, slow down your movement on the negative and/or increase your repetitions with a focus on the "squeeze" of the muscle. 💪

If you're increasing weight over time, you can build lean muscle with this workout, but it is more focused towards fat loss. We have several other dumbbell only hypertrophy and strength building workouts you can watch for better muscle building results.

It can definitely still help with burning fat. However the goal with training should always be progressive overload and improving strength/performance over time. That's the key to truly noticeable results.

You should take 5-10minutes to warm-up before the workout, 2 is not enough to properly prepare your muscles, joints and ligaments. But you can certainly go through 4 rounds of the circuit instead of 3 if you want to continue pushing yourself.

Any diet that allows you to eat in a calorie deficit and meet your macro and micronutrient needs. There is no magic diet. You have to find what works for you and eat the proper amounts of foods. 💪💯 Start out eating 10-12x your bodyweight in calories each day. Aim for 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight and get plenty of fruits and veggies
