Hey Heath and Rachel. Love that table, works so well. The 12-22 is an awesome machine, the box wedge takes so much more force to push the rounds than a 4,6,or 8 way wedge. Great idea putting that tarp under the splitter to catch the debris etc. Love you guys and your videos.
@hardworkingmanoutdoors

Thank you Adrian. I had used part of an Ibc tote bladder in the past to catch debris but it was always in the way of our feet. A few viewers mentioned the tarp and it worked out well. Nice video, excellent work. That table is helpful. I would recommend getting an arm that attaches to the pusher plate. I have a 12-22 for 3 years now and split a lot of wood. The box wedge does make beautiful consistent wood. Nice work on rotating the rounds to get the knots up top. One recommendation is steel toe boots. Just be careful. Keep the videos coming.

Hey guys, looks like that table is working out well for you! Try using the side of an IBC tote for under the splitter. I have a few I drilled and put rope handles on as well as holes in the bottom for drainage. Very easy to pull right into the bucket or forks and swap out for an empty!

Hi Heath - it's Big Rodders in Ireland. I prefer smaller splits for my small stove so the box wedge would be my choice for that reason plus less wrestling with the log compared to a 6 or 8 way wedge. For an operator with a tractor and bucket I remain to be convinced about the table, especially considering the price point. I consider frichnjeep's system of resting a loaded bucket on a homemade table more workflow friendly at a much lower cost. Happy Xmas to your family and all your viewers.

I agree 100% that large rounds are not fun to deal with, My summer was (1) giant 3 leg maple that was 60ish" at the stump, I had to quarter the rounds for the first 16' then still was dealing with 30" or better rounds. Got 6 cords worth of maple from it though, that box wedge would have been a huge time saver.

Thanks Steve. Andrew has been more than generous already as you will see in an upcoming video. VERY nice splits for a tote. Watching every round shed it's bark would surely make a pile of scrap but I think 90 % of it was bark. More practice is in line for those premature loads to the table though.🤔 Keep up the great work on the firewood and videos. Have a Merry Christmas and byyeeeeee.🎁🎄🤣

Hello Ken and thank you. Yes I fill and stage the Ibc totes for seasoning. We burn wood ourselves and I sell some. I have 2 remote location roadside stands on busy roads that sell quite a bit. I also deliver bulk wood but do not advertise that as I am just now ramping up my production and growing the business more as my kids get older. I am pretty much sold out for the year but plan to sell at least 2-3 times as much next year.

Bill, that is a slick table. I have a lot of plans for our table with different ways to run it that I’ll be bringing in upcoming videos as time permits. I like that once we have the rounds on the table you simply roll them down and split, no need to lift and twist with each round. A table of any type is definitely nice! I like seeing others processes, constantly tweaking my plans!

That splitter could probably keep 3 or 4 people busy at full capacity. That table would be a excellent Part of the process and the tractor needed for several different jobs. If we're considering production firewood processing I'm thinking a great financial choice but I didn't hear a price on it yet?

Thanks Darrin and I agree both the Eastonmade 12-22 and the All Wood Muscle Wood can easily keep 3-4 people busy. The table is honestly like having an extra person. We will do videos in the future showing different methods of splitting vs the table. In my opinion nothing will come close. Their is a special introductory price Bobby is offering for the table. We post it during our outro along with his phone #. He is doing the tables for $1,500 which in my opinion is an absolute steal for the value it adds. Not to mention it should last a lifetime.
