Nice to have you back. One thing I noticed. At about 1:25 you cast hold person and then explicitly say you want to wait to see what happens before you move. Sounds tedious, but doing this more often might help stop GPT from over responding.

That’s not a bad point. It did seem to make the subsequent prompts a little cleaner. I’d rather have GPT differ to me too often than not enough.

@@TBLReady I agree with that. When I say tedious, I mean having to remind GPT to wait. I'm looking forward to seeing if upgrading GPT helps it remember old instructions and stay on track.

Im starting a new series in GPT4 and it seems to be working fairly well. I’m using a modified rule set that is shorter and easier to reference which helps.

I was playing a game with chatgpt as the dm and asked it to give me the song lyrics of my heroic father Logar Firestide. Here's the results. Got a question. Is there way to make chatgpt take a small numbers of quests as you play along. For example I want to have a quest where I track down stolen sheep, a stolen amulet, a band of thieves, and another simple quest. Is there a way to let chatgpt know that?

Oh absolutely. Now it has a limited memory so depending on how long the quests take it might forget the list. You can literally let it know [I’d like my character to take on these quests as part of the adventure_____. These should be distinct quests and are not to be combined] if do this at the onset or when your character has hit a lul in story progression. I hope this works.

@@TBLReady I can try and see. Might need help on how to describe the quests. Like I wrote one where a first level character hears a scream girl help, confronts the bandits and fought them. This is more like the story in a specific direction and seemed way to fast. There was no setup. Just you hear the scream and here's combat.
