Greetings from Germany! Thank you for this interesting Video! Yes, Hexenzirkel = Witches circle is it called here or also Feenring = Feary Ring

You know one thing that makes me puzzled? If one day there would be at least a few years here, then the fairy rings would most likely always be active? Why don’t they stay up for longer if they could be dancing for what could be a century for us?

I used to have a fairy ring in my yard. It was between 2 large pine trees. It disappeared after a couple years. The other day, I noticed a new one in it's place, but this time large enough to surround both trees. It's funny though. We also have a large iron mine about 400 feet behind our house. I would have thought that would have discouraged this kind of thing.

There are stories of people being taken by the fairies after accidentally stumbling over or into a fairy ring. Similarly, it is said to be bad luck to walk along a 'fairy path' or that's it's dangerous to pick up sticks from a 'fairy path' for kindling, it's also said that the fairy path leads to the world of the fair folk. I have heard many stories like this... more importantly I suppose are the stories which involve the going about of getting a loved one back from the world of the fair folk... one story I am reminded of is that of a girl who stumbled uninvitedly across a fairies wedding, and who was taken by them that following night after spying on the whole event, and who's father went through hell to get her back

we have one in our yard. when its up we're not in that portion of the yard. any fruit still on the vine is theirs now. our yard work helper's done for the season when they pop up, since when they start popping we're at the end of the growing season and there won't be enough work to fill the hour they're here for

I was always curious and haven’t been able to fully understand something about Iron and Steel. Why Iron and Steel in particular? Would other metals be effective as well?
@MorganDaimlerfairies2 жыл бұрын
No, there seems to be a certain specific quality to iron/steel that the fairies are averse to. No one knows for sure why - maybe it's the chemical composition, maybe it's a magical property, maybe it's the lack of electrical conductivity. Maybe it's something else entirely
@fantasyeve872 жыл бұрын
@@MorganDaimlerfairies This makes sense especially the lack of conductivity! Interesting and thank you so much for your help and vids! I’m learning a lot ❤️

I have lost a dog to mushroom poisoning and almost lost another who survived thanks to an enormous vet bill. I have to pull up every mushroom in my yard and pulled up a ring (from the outside) a couple of weeks ago. I did apologize and said why and left an offering of cream and an earring. Was that sufficient or what would have been? Thanks you for this video!
@MorganDaimlerfairies3 жыл бұрын
Yes I think if it must be done doing so respectfully with an explanation is important

In the case of fairy rings in grass (that you describe as either a darker shade of green or grass that is dead), is it the patch of grass that takes on a circular shape or, like the mushroom fairy rings, is it a circular band or border?
@MorganDaimlerfairies3 жыл бұрын
A circular band or ring
@jaylogan13383 жыл бұрын
@@MorganDaimlerfairies Interesting! That would be something to see. I've only come across the mushroom rings on occasion.
