Hate to be Debbie Downer but I dunno if MLB can pull this off. They're playing in Japan (800 active COVID cases), S. Korea (1,100 cases) and Taiwan (5, you read that right, 5 active cases out of 24 million people). The US has 1.3 million active cases and that number is going up. Testing is better than it was, but MLB is going to have people popping positive like popcorn. Asia is playing baseball, Europe is playing soccer; but all those places have beat back the COVID. We, the USA, are worse than we were in April. Our sports, and our economy, are going to be shut down longer than other developed countries.

im 47 and have followed baseball religiously for almost 40 of those years. between the steroid era, the Astros unapologetic cheating scandal, and the very apparent greed from both sides of the table -I AM OFFICIALLY DIVORCING BASEBALL. D-U-N.i'm using this bizarro pandemic to buffer my withdrawals. i will always love the game itself, but what it's become has no heart or soul anymore. jomboy, keep mocking the lunacy and you can be the little shred of nostalgia i have left for what used to be the greatest game in the world. GK out!
