Great video! Thanks for going through some of our (Mod Community) profiles. You surely want to put a TS or ChowCentaur pedal with mild settings in front of those amps as well, it really adds some interesting beef, especially for some of the high gain models. I’m curious what you would think of the Point Fifty model that resembles a 5150, paired with a drive pedal in front and a friedman esque cab IR behind it

So basically, like NAM this is free, plus has decent quality effects, and neural distortion based stomps, and also has a killer compact pedal that can take those rigs on the road with you??

@@TSFAHTPS That is awesome. I think I will install it tonight on the PC and if I like what I hear I will order it. Its been the one drawback to the Tonex is that the effects stomps arent there. If they had made an entire IK pedalboard with Tonex and Amplitube 5, we wouldnt even be having this conversation right now, lol. Thanks for the info on this as always!

Compare the Aida plug-in against some other amp in box pedals like the iridium and the like…

Hi Gabor, a few questions: 1. Can the free MOD VST work without the Dwarf pedal? (just to use as a free VST on the computer) 2. Can one control the MOD VST software with a 3rd party midi pedalboard? (like a Behringer) 3. Can one use the MOD VST just for FX, without AIDAX, and let's say, add NAM and a regular IR loader after MOD VST instead? (or even better: be used as plugin within MOD VST, or be loaded directly into it? - aka compatibility question) Have you tried it? 4. How many fx stomps, amps and cabs are available in the initial package of the MOD Dwarf? Is there a list somewhere? (I know a lot of stomps, boards, amps and cabs can be uploaded later, but it comes at a cost that I am not willing to cover) What are the quality of these compared to other multi fx/modeler pedals out there, iyo? 5. In regard to the initial loaded package of stomps/amps/cabs in question 4, are these available to download for free online (included in the free MOD VST), or are these only physically loaded in the Dwarf pedal, without access for whom only download the MOD software? (I could try the MOD software myself, you might rightfully say...) 6. How hungry is the MOD VST/AIDAX in terms of CPU ressources? Thanks for your answers.
