It’s a shame how expensive it is to try and eat healthy yet a family of 4 can go eat off of the dollar menu at a fast food place that is super unhealthy. I consider myself very fortunate, but I’m aware that there’s a lot of people that can’t shop at Whole Foods or other places where they can afford high quality items.

This is true. Spending $10 on a tiny loaf of bread is insane especially if you’re a family of 4 - can finish this in two days - maybe even in a day. Whole Foods has some decent good sales but their regular price items are flat out outrageous.

Just wanted to put this out there for those watching: you can most definitely eat an even more nutritious diet without all of these expensive packaged “health foods.” All you have to do is focus on eating whole plant-based foods like fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts, seeds. These foods are so much less expensive than a $10 loaf of bread, and you know exactly what you’re putting in your body without the worry of reading the label on an ultra processed loaf of “bread”

Yes, you are absolutely correct. But I think a lot of people don't want to spend ti.e to cook from scratch. And I think this channel is amazing about teaching people how to read labels on packaged and processed food. Plus, not everyone can make thier own ice cream or pasta...

Very true. I’m Indian, Pakistani and from the Middle East. We just grew up eating fresh food everyday. We made vegetarian curries with ginger, garlic, tumeric and fresh spices. It costs way less! But, I think Bobby’s information is good for when we want a quick and easy fix! And how to read ingredients for certain snacks etc.

@@debbytidwell9870 I was initially told there was no medication for my condition and I had to wait and see. Had I not started to eat better, I may not be in the health I am today. Then one dr. Put me on thyroid meds for a month but it didn’t do anything for me so I stopped. Definitely see a functional doctor which is what I did but they will guide you with food first before they feel you need meds.

Not gonna lie, as a single mom with a lower income I’m sad I can’t afford nearly any of this. I know I’m not Bobby’s target audience but it always makes me feel like I’m failing a bit as a mom. The fact that you are educating yourself about proper nutrition and want to provide better quality food for your family just shows that you are an amazing mom. Do the best that you can within your means. Start off with a solid foundation, switching to whole foods and eliminating processed sugary items. Not sure if you shop at Aldis or have one near you, but their house brand has an amazing budget friendly selection of high quality organic food items you can check out.

I looked up how to shop for a diabetic as I was pre-diabetic and my brother in law IS diabetic, I wanted to learn everything I could. I have learned a lot from this channel and I'm excited to continue using your tips to keep myself and my family healthy. Definitely more expensive than shopping used to be but the Aldi and Costco vids have been lifesavers.

Sometimes throw this mix in plain org Greek yogurt or eat like cereal in almond milk with stevia. All these things just google keto whatever KZfaq. I even found keto lemon meringue pie which is my favorite I will make this winter. Anything you want is on KZfaq.

This weekend I went off track A LOT. Yeah.... I am paying for it now. Just not feeling great. Stomach is a mess. I am 51. I do have to say, the foods you eat are very pricey. I do what I can to eat as clean as I can. We have athletes in the house (3) age 19 to 14. They eat mostly what my wife and I eat. We spend thousands a month on food. Eating clean doesn't help that. The good good thing is we make most of our food. We cut corners when life gets real busy but we also try to plan a head so we have things that we can grab on the way out the door. It's not perfect but it helps. Costco Is our 2nd home too. Also $900 to $2000 a month goes to that house payment too. Depending if we are entering, pool parties... ect... Christmas hosting too Congratulations on being in your very late 43's 👏. Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 Enjoy, Paul West Sacramento California

I am truly grateful for your KZfaq KZfaq videos and you little girls little girl's little cooking in snacks and breakfast things that she does she does it warms my heart I love learning what to put in my body I am very overweight and and not feeling very well well I feel more like I'm 90 and I turned 55 I definitely try to spread the word to anyone that will listen which is which is not much lol. About things that you talk about that are healthier than the alternatives I speak of you Bobby as if you are my friend people are like who is that and are laughed and say Hi guy I watch on KZfaq KZfaq while they look at me discussed. This year I'm on my keto journey no journey and once I lose weight I'm gonna try and do paleo Quito and see which one Makes me feel the best or both I definitely have to thank you for speaking spreading the word and taking your chances in these Stores and II really resent greatly when they kick you out since you are just trying to help people not like they are trying to give out your recipes or anything which may be they should and they could sell more of the things that are good for you and discontinue selling all the bad things . HMM THATS A THOUGHT, YEA THAT WONT HAPPEN I MUST HAVE BEEN DREAMING. I just wanted to let you know you are the one that is inspiring me to be healthier this year and I am hoping and praying that you and your family stay safe and have a great year

I have a question, lentils or chickpeas mixed with regular grains pasta is still healthy right? I mean if it's about 50/50 of each and only cooked in water too of course

Hey Bobby! My 4 year old daughter daughter and myself love your channel! We watch it everyday and she loves watching Rose cook. She wanted me to ask you if you know of any healthish ketchup (sugar free-if there is such a thing in a grocery store) or a recipe for healthy ketchup. She loves ketchup but we have cut it completely out because of the bad stuff in it. Thanks so much!
