5-Finger 12-DOF Hand
- Thumb, index and middle fingers : 3 DOF per finger
- Ring and little fingers: totally 3 DOF
(2 underactuated flexions, 1 coupled ab/adduction)
Impact Absorbing Actuators
- Actuated by BLDC motors and ball-screws
- Impact and overload absorbing clutch mechanism
To be improved
- Adding a 2-DOF wrist mechanism
- Soft and robust skin with fluid lubrication
- Reducing actuator size, and so on ...

So good to see such optimised design: that level of robust, clean (minimalist) 'simplicity' takes sooo much work to design but someone there knows how important it is and is evolving excellent solutions. Very exciting! 😁👍

i had this design not exact but similar when i was i school,i was inspired from TERMINATOR,the scene where he cuts open his arm skin to check his hydraulics or something that inspired me,and i made a design out of it,if it ever worked itd look exactly like this . u guys are so lucky to have all things required,continue more ,i could ever only IMAGINE IT IN MY DREAMS.

Please who knows what method of movement or control this is using e.g we all know 3D printers use stepper motors to move in Cartesian or Delta coordinates so something like that, in this case what is it. Thanks if you reply. : )

The robot is great, there is excellent quality of materials and software, but in my opinion it is useless because? 1 does not repair itself, 2 does not build its own feet, bad approach .

In my opinion if it is invalid, there is no innovation, for example no one has begun to create a mini smelter for creation of feet or auto recycling or auto repair and that is very important greetings from Mexico.
