The episode that made me feel somewhat special: I did beat Zelda 2 back in 1991 at the age of twelve (even back then I knew what it was I had done; this will forever remain my greatest gaming achievement. The only impossible thing was not to cry tears of joy!) I also do remember playing (or merely trying to play!) my very first video game back in 1983 or 84. Arcade. I looked it up last year and it was Night Driver. It's impossible to forget that huge chromed steering wheel, even though I was just 5 or so!

Red Dead 2 was definitely a game that’s going to stick with me forever. It’s the best video game story this generation. It gets a lot of flack for the gunplay feeling the same as every other rockstar game, but I don’t feel like a game has to reinvent the wheel to feel magnificent.
@Hunce19854 жыл бұрын
Hey Daemon, just a heads up on the pronunciation for Middlesborough. The last part should be read as "buh·ruh". There are other areas in the UK with this suffix attached at the end, so it might come up again. However when you said "middles-bro" I pictured it in a jock persona and it was hilarious, so feel free to keep saying it that way!

There are various games I played when I was young that I have no desire to re-visit, and there are games from 20 years ago that I have played regularly over the decades and will continue to do so. Now, I didn't start properly console gaming until last gen and most of the games from last gen I don't have much desire to re-visit except for a few special games that I do and those are the games I'll likely replay many times in the years to come Now I have the same feeling about the games from this gen: most I'll probably never replay, however some I definitely will.

I like the souls-borne-Sekiro series more than anything I liked as a kid. I had games I really loved as a kid but, games that are more current for me, mean more. Bloodborne was one of the greatest experiences I've ever had playing video games and that was last year.

While only the Sega CD release was localized, in Japan the game also released on the Turbo Grafx-16, SNES, and oddly Microsoft Windows in 2006. sonic.fandom.com/wiki/Sister_Sonic

Splatterhouse is a beloved franchise for me. It was the only way to get some kind of a Jason game in the 80s obviously ignoring the LJN one, lol! The 2010 one is awesome and it includes all 3 classic games so it was definitely a sweet package. Only one it missed was Wanpaku but oh well. I have always liked the style. My problem with the Boarderlands series is staying alive. For some reason I'm terrible at it. No other looter shooter I have ever played gave me that much trouble. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing wrong. I have put at this point thousands of hours between Destiny, Division, Anthem, etc, so its not like I'm new to the genre.

Super Dodgeball is a River City Ransom universe game. River City Ransom is probably my favorite NES game over Zelda and Super Mario and you didn't even mention it. 2 player side scroller Brawler/RPG that's way better than Double Dragon by the same developers. The Scott Pilgrim game was a direct homage to it.

I will always choose Nintendo over every other system. So removing them out I would choose Sony Playstation, but that is base off nostalgic with PS1 being my 2nd console and PS2 being my 4th, (Gamecube was my 3rd obviously N64 was my 1st). Here's my problem, I always love halo and it's what moves me to buy an Xbox and with most of the top games being shared by both systems and now with xbox game pass ultimate, I can't see money reason why i should buy a Sony Playstation. Thing is though the question who I'll choose if money was not option I would pick Sony Playstation over Xbox and other systems like Google, but never above Nintendo. Since money does effect my decision I would buy a xbox over a playstation due to the value I get and with the features they are talking about for the next gen phase, but never above Nintendo. Nintendo will always have more play value as in family time, and fun aspects, couch co-op, and the quality time they (Nintendo) tap in to, as long they stick to their roots in my opinion .

Funny how BL3 is big with critics and not with gamers. Just look at metacritic. Lol. I think saying it’s more BL isn’t good enough. Everything is just about antiquated. It seems Gearbox spent all that time just making the Echo for Twitch. There are some new things. Upgraded graphics and more guns. Mark the last BL games, not Telltale one, you upgrade and get new weapons. All this game did was come up with new weapons. Which I get is a huge part of the game. But they should have did something new with the weapons. A mod system was rumored and the way weapon are made up in the menu looks like mods were going to be used.
