There's online tests to see if you're colorblind. They show a picture made up of little circles. Some circles are colored so they show a number. If you can't see the number you're colorblind. There's different levels of colorblindless; it looks like Daemon is red/green colorblind, which I think is the most common.

Daemons right I clearly remember games being $49.99 for quite some time before they were eventually raised to $60
@systematicallyshocked
@systematicallyshocked 4 жыл бұрын
The Xbox, Ps2 and GameCube Era were 49.99 throughout the entirety of that Era, including when the games became cross console games on ps3, ps2 stayed 49.99. Crazy though, I do remember paying $60+ for SNES. I remember my older brother spending his summer money on an SNES game for $80. So the fact it's been $60 is insane. Nothings stayed the same price in the same time frame. Except fast food. Good ol artificial ingredients.

@@systematicallyshocked the game market has gotten so huge that it is possible to keep the prices down, but at the same time games have become so complex that they are very expensive to make. Monetization has increased a lot too though as compensation. Game pass is a huge threat to the value of games and how much people will expect to pay. Unfortunately, it looks like it's going down the free to play model

@@charliemilroy6497 On PC the value of video games has gone way down because of things like Humble Bundle. Why pay full price when it'll be in a bundle for pennies or even given away for free? Epic Games has been giving a free game every week since January 2019. I have over 60 free games on my Epic Games account, hundreds of dollars worth that would take me years to finish.

Yes, and when the same game released on the PS2 and ps3 at the end of the ps2 era, the ps2 versions stayed at $49.99. The funny thing is the Wii games could have also stayed at $50 instead of $60 (especially moreso because of the low cost dvds) and because of the cheap Wii hardware but that just added to Nintendo's bank account and since everyone else was doing it, I suppose no one questioned it. It didn't make Sense for Nintendo to do 59.99 but it sure made Cents...............😅 Does anyone else remember if the multi platform games were $59.99 as well? I'm trying to remember....

I still recall spending $59.99 for Zaxxon for the ColecoVision. I bought many of the NES Black Box games in 1985 for $22 each, in the late 80's/ early 90's some Genesis games were $65 (Revenge of Shinobi, Golden Axe, for example)-$79.99 (Phantasy Star III), Virtua Racing was $99.99. And on the N64 the default prices were $69.99 for 1st part Nintendo games, and some 3rd party games, such as Shadows of the Empire were $89.99.

I'm with Justin on AC Odyssey. I had zero problems with XP. I never got locked out of a mission for being too low level and I didnt do anything other than just play the missions as they came including side missions. I'm not saying it didn't happen that way for others, it's just that from how I played I don't see how anyone had to grind for hours to play the next main mission, I mean unless they were ONLY doing main missions. Also. My first rage quit when I broke a N64 controller playing Goldeneye. I had all levels beat on the hardest difficult except for Control. It took me months to do it but I remember needing to get to the elevator at the end of the level and I died as the elevator door were opening. This was seriously my like 300th attempt and until then I had never gotten that far. So naturally I blacked out in anger. Fortunate for me there were no living things around me at the time. lol

Assassin's creed rips you off by charging for 2xp and also hiding the best armour behind a paywall. Plus it also has a season pass which is fine but they dont need to charge up for extra xp.... they should of atleast put it in the ubisoft club

Don't agree with Sam's sentiment of "I just want to be done with my game" - I play games because I enjoy the challenge they bring. If the game had me press 2 buttons to beat it and the rest of it was just me watching cinematics, then I may as well be watching a movie or a let's play video. No - give me a reasonably challenging game (maybe include optional difficulty levels) and let me play the game without telling me "hey, for just $4.99 you can buy an I WIN button and let us beat the game for you!"

Ok so I remember the price jump from 50 to 60 dollars. It was being talked about in magazines and topic of conversation with friends. It was controversial. Now looking back and comparing just a price jump to a million(exaggeration) micro-transactions I prefer a price jump. Sell games brand new for 70 or 80 dollars, but that’s it. Release the game completely finished with 70 or 80 dollars worth of content or release the game like we do now and all DLC, boosts, skins/outfits, weapons packs are open for you to download for free. I could work with that. If a developer decides to try and scam the players and not make a game worth the money and no extra content afterwards they will have ruined themselves. No one will buy games from them again. We are the players we have control of our money. They aren’t making us pay so spend your money wiser. Don’t let these disconnected investors think that you’re going to pay them no matter what crap product they put out. Thanks for all the great work guys. Always enjoy watching when I can and listening when I can’t. Be good y’all.

I couldn't agree less with Sam about games being bad at telling stories, it's just a different story telling. You are experiencing the story as gameplay. I don't mean the meta way of like your experience as a person is the story I mean the game is showing you the story of the character you are playing, as you play. Like if you gotta climb a cliff that would be an action scene in a movie or a paragraph in a book but in a game you get to do it to an extent. Same goes with swimming, fighting, exploring and gathering. That IS story telling as there's predetermined events etc, its just interactive storytelling. I guess I'd agree if you specified it's passive story telling they suck at

I rage quit nioh on the second level after I got really far and hit a wall, which then killed me. It took me about a year to get back to it, but I finally completed the main game. Maybe I'll go back to the new game plus someday soon

Charlie Milroy I almost quit Nioh on that snow stage with the boss being that woman and she has a cane. That. Was. Difficult. I had to look up a strategy.

Not sure how they got transfixed thinking Smash Bros has platforming as per a platform game and that Donkey Kong Country would qualify as a sometimes platformer. When asking about exclusivity, always ask at time of release and forget if it got ported. Platform exclusive is better than console exclusive too. This was a 20 questions that should have been won after 12 if the gang hadn't derailed themselves. WU exclusive, Nintendo published, some platforming, it could only be NES Remix. .
