Thank you Gary for coming back and trying to get us out of a hole. Unfortunately I think we have far too many players at the club who only turn up when they have a full house at their backs. Your right about the need for a change in the culture of the club. Whoever we recruit, they need to know the importance of that royal blue shirt. They need to play for the badge EVERY SINGLE game not just when they feel like it. We're Birmingham City and we deserve so much more. I do feel that this just puts us a year behind schedule in terms of realising Wagner's ambitions and looking at the bigger picture he will be relentless in his pursuit of success. KRO

We havent been nowhere near good enough this season. Gary tightened us up and kept us in games so fair play to him. We have been dealt bad refereeing decisions all season. Hull hand ball goal on the top of the list for me. But the worst mistake by a long way was appointing rooney. Where they have been amazing in every other aspect, the one we really needed them to get right was the manager, and they went and dropped a complete clanger. I dont want to point fingers or play the blame game. Its a decision that has hurt us fans deep now and halted our progress. When we went down with sulivan and the golds we come straight back up and won the daf trophy. Maybe something like that will create a good mindset for our new team to push forward in the championship. Maybe, this is what we needed. I am disappointed in the players. They get paid in weeks what i get paid in a year and i just feel some or most of them really didnt care enough to push us over the line. I hope that hurts them in the pocket with whatever they choose to do next. Because it hurt me in both the pocket and the heart. See you down st andrews next year blue noses. Really pleased with the players!!! We are relegated to league 1 next season its very sad day for Birmingham City and his team, Season is the end and hopefully will need to get back to championship if we get starts for 2024/25

Everyone’s laughing at us but we gotta own it and move on. Hopefully this is a lesson that pays off in the future that you don’t mess with a team doing well. Rooney being a disaster, Mowbrays illness and a lack of strong characters in the squad was too much to overcome. We need a clear out in all honesty and hopefully we can get used to winning on a regular basis again in league 1. KRO

Like the other commenter, we was in 5th position from the start of the season with eustace in charge just starting to find his rhythm in our team & they fire him for a shred killer.. then had mark Venus that was absolutely bullshit rooney & mark Venus we had in charge was just shrek & donkey until rowett literally tried coming into birmingham a few games left tried I can be grateful to rowett though he did try without just being useless in his mind not knowing what he is doing he stepped up to the challenge but at the end of the day it is what it is! Massive respect to rowett from me but also aye we left the season with a win to a solid team. Safe & looking forward to next season as we will be back gone for now but not forgotten till next year. 😌👌 KRO. 💯

From the time Rooney was sacked only Rotherham have conceded less points than us,simple we got what we deserved on the positives I've been a season ticket holder since 85/86 and the most enjoyable season was in division 3 under Barry fry so I'm looking forward to going to a few new grounds

Fair play Gary, I think there are some realities to be faced for many at the club. The managerial turmoil has not helped but there seems to be a lack of guts from some of he players when it really mattered.

The beauty of the 3 points for a win it rewards positivity but you feel we tried not to lose games when we should have tried to win when it came to the run in. Mind you when 5 of the bottom 6 clubs on the final day win shows you everything about the championship

Like many of you I feel totally gutted by todays relegation , but so proud that you lot care so much it would be easy to not give a , but through thick and thin , and lets be honest there's been quite a few lean seasons and desperate days , still true blue fans shout their hearts out week in week out always keeping the faith . So we fall down and reflect with hurt in our hearts . It's quite clear performances like todays consistently would have had us in a play off spot had GR been brought in earlier .Hopefully the owners are also ruefully reflecting on their decisions that lead to this dismal day .I think it's fair to say they owe us the joy fans have been starved of for many seasons . Just look at what Ipswich Town have achieved today ,that should now become our total focus , it is possible , back to back promotions with a new ground and the best fans in the country , hope the gaffer stays he is the right one given a full season to turn things around , KRO.💙

I obviously want to see Tony fighting fit but just for a bit of continuity I hope that Rowett is given a bit of time, if nothing else not to rush Tony back into the job until he's 100%. Rowett was unfairly sacked in his first stint with the club as manager, I want to see him given the opportunity to use the momentum from the last 8 games (where bar the draws against Rotherham and Huddersfield we can say we gave a good fight) to build us back up. But we shouldn't have been able to get into this position to begin with. The owners care a great deal and have ambition which we haven't seen in a long time, but it's unnerving knowing the stinker of a mistake they made to sack Eustace because Rooney was marketable. Was wishful thinking to not appoint a proper interim from day one when Mowbray was taken ill and I do wonder if we'd maybe have done enough if we hadn't wasted weeks with caretaker managers during a relegation dogfight. Also a tinge of misfortune, other teams seemed to pull out the shock results to stay alive that we couldn't, and even when we did it was just too late. Be interesting to see how we bounce back, given our owners have bought the land for the new ground it looks like they're supporting words with actions. But other owners have scaled back post-relegation so let's hope they're not wrong-uns.

See many similarities between Blues and Man Utd. Obviously MU a much bigger club, but both have made multiple managerial changes over recent years, made dud player signings, had unscrupulous owners, lacked any continuity or brand/strategy. Both clubs demonstrated how not to run a club.

In my opinion only John Eustace and his coaching team, and a hand full of players come out of this season with any credit. Everyone else has played a part in our demise to a greater or lesser extent. I just want to see a big clear out now as I don't want to have to watch the same players next season. The position of Graig Gardner should come under the microscope as well. Also, I don't want to have to listen to any more discussions about the type of football that we play. All I want to see is WINNING football and if we get out of League One by playing long ball stuff like Watford and Wimbledon used to fine by me! For next season I want to see proven players being signed, particularly up front. Not people who we think might score goals, but players with proven records in League One. One last point. It was our utterly pathetic away record that got us relegated. Our record: Home 36 points - 9th Away 14 points - 23rd Why Rooney, Mowbray, Venus and Rowett couldn't get to the bottom of this says a lot. KRO
