software engineering is overcrowded now . Everyone now is studying CS without even thinking if they can sit infront of computer for 10hrs a day 😅

Sorry to hear about that. Don't worry, you will find something better. Are you thinking of getting into AI/ML? I am a software engineer. But due to this whole new wave of Generative AI got me thinking what if actual software projects can be made just by some prompts in the future. By giving the Generative AI model inputs, requirements, configurations. Yes, customizations will have to be done on top of that, but you can have a working prototype ready & deployed. So what required a team of engineers can be handled by a handful. This could happen in next 5 years or earlier. So I started getting into AI/ML. Started brushing up my Python, Mathematics, Statistics. After that I will dive into ML. What are your thoughts?

Refer to Figma AI, they are automation UI UX Roles. Same will happen with software as its about optimization, and Developers are very slow, either they have to buckle up and run like a rat or will be replaced by other dev who uses AI to do 30 days work in 4 days.

if one already has an IIT degree everything else is secondary. But this advice isn't good for those from Tier 2/3 colleges if they are planning to pursue Product roles. Brand matters a lot for getting shortlisted or even for references

Life is full of ups and downs in every field. In govt job also people have many pressure and problems, same in private company. There will always be something good in store for you, keep trying. But better to go for masters, because even if you are having a good product, but you get good price only in mall not on roadside. So similarly additional degree gives you entry in that mall . You are young after sometime it will be late. Zindagi choti hai is filmi at the end be practical.

simple life , 1 acer of land house in corner, 2 cows, 4 goats, 15 chickens, vegetable plants, work earnfor food. educate kids in at home and put in government school for socializing.

For start up you need to first get the industry experience. Once you have seen major facets of working of an org can you think of taking the plunge. Otherwise sirf josh our garam khoon se jaaoge too you will get stuck again.

Product people dont get enough pay, be in tech field only and there are so many other compnies/ startups where you can work in tech
