ABOUT OXYGEN NOT INCLUDED:
In the space-colony simulation game Oxygen Not Included you’ll find that scarcities of oxygen, warmth, and sustenance are constant threats to your colony's survival. Guide colonists through the perils of subterranean asteroid living and watch as their population grows until they're not simply surviving, but thriving...
Build Extensive Bases and Discover What it Takes to Survive:
Everything in your space colony is under your control, from excavation and resource allocation right down to plumbing and power systems. Resources will begin depleting with your first breath, however, so be sure to dig fast if you want to live.
Avoid Boiling with Thermodynamics:
Temperature control is a constant concern in space; too cold and you'll freeze, too hot and you'll fry. Keep tabs on ambient environmental temperatures and your colony's heat production to maintain a nice, cozy atmosphere for your colonists.
Enhance Efficiency through Complex Gas and Liquid Simulations:
Create interlocking pipe systems to swiftly deliver fuel and liquid to critical areas of your base. Plan well and be rewarded as your colony transforms into an imperishable, well-oiled machine.
Take Charge with Power Grid Simulations:
Choose from a multitude of power sources including coal, hydrogen, natural gas, or just plain old elbow grease. Manage power runoff, circuit overloads, and meltdowns to keep your colony running smoothly.

Great build going to steal it.😀 Just to explain you need the conveyor bridge to direct the flow, because the Conveyor Loader "Output", Sees the Conveyor Shutoff "Input" as a viable Exit so it gets confused and sends stuff both ways. Same with pipes as well. Putting the bridge in stops the confusion.

Niobium is actually very useful. You can make decor that uses metal ore out of niobium. It has the highest decor bonus, better than gold amalgam.

@@BierTier You explained it pretty well. If I see that correctly you ever only need 5kg of niobium if you have infinite tungsten. Create 100kg Thermium first using 5kg Niobium and 95kg Tungsten. Melt it down to niobium again. Add more tungsten. Create a larger amount of thermium. Melt it down to Niobium. etc.

@@Luma_plays Oh yes, that is literally how it works in the current state of the game. It makes sooooo little sense, but that's how it works. Infinite Tungsten also means infinite sand in the same stroke ;)

Nice design. BTW I’m pretty sure you don’t need thermium for the liquid pump if you cool it with a loop of hydrogen gas. Just one piece of radiant pipe in the place your petroleum priming liquid drops down will cool the pump and you can then loop the gas up to dump the heat off in the steam room. Then a steel pump should be more than enough as long as the pump doesn’t actually touch the niobium.

Thanks! Yes, I think you are right, that could be solved differently, with your version for example. I wanted to make 100% sure that it works in this build for a long time and not make it any more complicated than it already is :) That's what I love about ONI, many different paths lead to the same or similar result :)

will the liquid pumb break if let it run for a long time because no coolant for it ?

You are correct, I overlooked the pump. It will take so long for it to cause an issue since it's built out of Thermium that I kinda forgot about it. But, here is a easy fix for that though: bit.ly/PumpCooling

@@BierTier that design is excessive and counter-productive due to the fact that non-nobium pump would easily got broken. U just need to make the conductive pipe for petrol. That only requires steel pump

What is the function of the metal block on the left?

This is a "cooler" or "cold box". The tiles are made from aluminum, cold water is routed through it to cool down the metal tiles. The aluminum has a very high heat conductivity and in turn cools down the solid material on the conveyor rails that we route through it. Easy and fast to built, but extremely efficient :)
