This episode was an hour long panic attack, I was in denial the whole time. I genuinely thought he was pranking.

I haven't been that shocked and speechless since I watched the Red Wedding back in 2017 for the first time. I'm heartbroken. Bravo to Brian Cox overall, and I expect nominations for Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, and Kieran Culkin. Alan Ruck may not have had as much screen time, but he was good as well.

That whole episode was a masterclass in acting, directing and writing. Bravo! The best show on television!

I Stan Gerri, She deserves more than Roman

I couldn´t believe what i was watching last night, insane. Best show on TV by FAR.

I predicted he wouldn’t last the season but I didn’t expect it THIS SOON!!!

Everyone needs to give Gerri a break. She just got canned after tapdancing around the DOJ & keeping the company afloat. She was loyal and helped them navigate many deals. And Roman fired her in his typical terrible manner. I don't blame her for being over all of them.

Man…. This episode was so hard… everyone was expecting for him to survive like Roman was clinging to the end….

Roman went inside the airplane to delete the voicemail from Logan's phone

This surprised me too. For a long time I was thinking this was going to be some kind of switch up, where he pulls through. Heck, I even partly expected him walk off the plane a say - what?

And now it begins as everyone backstabs everyone else in a bid to gain control, all bets are off now.

I held out until the end, but I also felt that the show would totally make a move like that. The show had already put Logan thru 2 health scares, so they knew the 3rd one had to be what took him.

Tom is in serious trouble because Logan was the only one he could rely on and Logan was only using him to get to Shiv. So he's only hope is go back to being Shiv's footstool to stay in the company. I can already see Greg jumping ship over to the Kids side and abandoning Tom to save his own skin. Because even though I like Tom and Greg's dynamic without Logan to kiss up to they are essentially powerless.

I love how ambiguous Logan's death was, how the episode was either through the kids perspectives or on the peripheral of what was happening on the plane. It really forced company people in to their proverbial musical chairs, too. Everyone was choosing between emotion or position because the music stopped. So brutal & such a heavy piece of great television!

This episode is brilliant a masterpiece. Having Logan pass away unexpectedly is a bold move. I love it. As far as Gerri goes me personally if my father hours right before he died and tell me to fire Gerri he know dam well I have feelings for her I would tell him hell no get somebody else to do it. I hope Gerri somehow take waystar to court and get her money. She's was loyal to Logan and this is what she gets in return. F***K OFF

As much as I hate GOT for "subverting my expectations", here comes along Succession who does it so well I am floored.

This episode reminds me of Breaking Bad's Ozymandias. A gripping and absolutely perfect episode. Wow.

Logan’s fate wasn’t shocking because it has been a long time coming and I knew it had to happen before the series was over. I thought it should have happened last season. However the way they shot it felt very real. Emergencies in real time feel like that. The different stages, the anxiety, the uncertainty.

IMO Logan decided to get rid of Gerri because of Roman. His history with Gerri compromises him if we was to become CEO, which Logan decided to grooming him for 3:19 after their conversation in ep 2. With Gerri out of the picture, Roman doesn’t have to worry about any sexual misconduct allegations popping up.

I only believed it when I saw Logan getting chest compressions. Only then did I think it was possible. Without Logan the sibs won't unite. Tom will get burned yet again by Shiv and she'll throw him under the bus. I don't blame Geri. She lost her job and reputation because of Roman's careless pic. Where's Marcia? Maatson will be the new foil. R.I.P. Logan 😠

This is why the poster has all the characters eyeing the back of Logan's head as they each vie for the head of the company. Interestingly, Greg is facing the other direction and Shiv is facing forward while the rest are facing right. Its as if the characters are facing away (as if they are not going for the CEO position) but side eyeing Logan (battling each other for the CEO spot).

I accepted it when Shiv said he was pronounced DOA.

When they said they were doing chest compressions and didn't have an AED. Chest compressions aren't meant to restart the heart, they keep blood moving through the body. They are exhausting, and it was likely the trained person would tire before getting backup. They were still in the air and would not be able to get actual medical help until well after he would be brain-dead. Succession is very realistic with its small details.

I assumed as soon as Tom said he was sick. I thought he would go early to shock us.

Tom said to Greg to delete the folder marked "logistics", THEN delete the folder from the "trash", thereby getting rid of the information in that folder. Not using that information for some nefarious action. He is dumping whatever information he was gathering that may be of use to him against Logan, he no longer needs the "logistics" folder since Logan is dead.

ow also how's romans message gonna get used against him? cause it's totally gonna get brought up again unless he find a way to delete it. like he should be worried! will show he was working with his dad but also might be used to prove the logan wanted to fire gerri since that might get glossed over now he's dead.

Gerri gets to keep her job because Logan died right after he told Karolina to make it official in paper, Karolina who likes Gerri as you can tell by her reaction when Logan says they are not only firing her but potentially setting her up to go to prison, Karolina mentions Gerri as still part of the team that's why she's allowed to be around, just like Cyd Gerri stays for now and I'm rooting for her, I don't blame her for how she ignored Roman when he tells her he's sad, he was horrible to her from the sexual harassment to telling her she was fired and he handled that terribly too, at that point she had nothing to tell him. I was very sad about the siblings and just like you I was shocked Logan died that early and needed confirmation that he had died, I'm glad he's gone after how he abused his children and what he was planning for Gerri, til the very end he was a misogynist trying to fire two women as if the cruises where women where raped and one jumped wasn't bad enough, it's like karma hit him instantly. And also karma for not attending Connor's wedding, maybe if he had attended he'd lived or at least not die without his kids. One of the best episodes ever in history of television.

Can't wait to hear what's in Logan's Will.

I knew he was dead the second Tom called them. Just because I knew originally Logan was supposed to die in the beginning , I had a feeling the writers would hit us with a left curve

When Tom called, I thought it was a mean way for him to get out of going to the wedding. I thought it was just a trick. I thought that was why we weren't seeing him and why Tom was on the phone- sort of like how he was using Roman to carry his message to Gerri. I didn't believe it for a while... Not until there was a shot when they pulled back and you could actually see someone doing CPR. It hit me. There was no reason for them to do that in the shot if it wasn't real because the kids couldn't see that... So if it was a trick they wouldn't have needed to do that. So it must be real CPR on Logan. So yeah it took me a while. Also- Shiv's voice on the phone broke me. It was hard up till then, the reactions were all so real.. but I totally felt her and it really *hurt*. Which was dumb because he was so mean... She also nailed it giving the press statement. Sarah Snook earned an Emmy in that episode, I hope they give it to her. Also, as someone with some medical training the more I watched the plane scene, the more I hope they had alternates to do that CPR. Whoever was doing it was doing excellent CPR- which is exhausting. And since they film scenes over and over and over. I really hope they were able to replace that person if they became exhausted. That's all I could think as I watched the CPR bit... They were doing such a good job at made me tired watching them.

I have a theory (I don't totally believe it, but it would be kind of cool) - if the company isn't sold off and stays as it is - Connor in charge as the face, roman really in charge but as his second since roman is smart but he's not a leader. Kendal reunites with his fam and has a sort of happy life, shiv and tom destroy each other - since really he's her focus. and Connor gets on top by the old guard promoting him cause they think he's stupid and they can manipulate him and it's a sort of consolation for him pulling out of the president race - like he's given a diff role that grows - also this might work cause he does have semi loyal/strong/smart people around him - willa and roman. also see gerri dissing roman is gonna backfire on her like she's done it a few times now and yeah he's shitty, but his feelings for her are genuine so i think there will be a time when she needs his support and he's all nah. Kerry - looking forward to her getting booted, but also is she pregnant and will that make a difference? - I think maybe and no like she might get a payout or some money.

I knew right away. The shows not here for the cheap thrills and fake outs. They’ve done him collapsing and surviving before.

I love when they did this. Because really, don't the Roy kids want their Dad to give them the CEO role, not just the role itself? Through all their power tripping, they truly just want their Dad'a acceptance, and now, his last words too them were 'you are not serious people' - ooof.

If Greg has any brains, he will take a copy of that Logistics folder, and then delete the original. (Not that it really matters. Everything is backed up on corporate machines, and the information will be found if there's any investigations.)

I am actually afraid that if board decides to keep Gerri fired, she might sue Roman for sexual harassment. I hope not, I really liked Gerri, too, and their twisted rekationship. I think Roman is really looking for love and I feel for him.
