Which one should you use for your tracking, Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager? This question can be a confusing one for beginners. quick question. If you set up a thank you page conversion GA tag in tag manager (not adwords). Can the goal label show up in analytics reports? I know when you set up goal in analytics the goal name shows but I don't seem to get that with the conversion tracker in Tag manager. Ok it wasn't a quick question. Let me know if I am confusing you.

If I install GA code directly to my page, then can I still using GTM for implementing GA tags? e.g. Collecting how many times does one button being clicked on a particular page.

Hey Julian, I am currently configuring my system now where I would deploy a live chat plugin on my website but at the same time, want to conduct A/B testing on the conversions of the website (half with chat bots, half without). How do I randomly make my website have chats for 50% of the time and the other half without while measuring the real difference in conversions from both scenarios? I suspect I need to use GTM to install the chat plugin to my website but I also need to know the numbers of total site visitors, conversions and what not through analytics, can you help me with this please?

Hi, Thanks for sharing. Question for a beginner like me. I have installed google Analytics on my page in header.tpl and I can see the audience, traffic source etc. Every thing But no conversion /revenue activity at all and I have conversions. Why? Is it because I must install GTM as well ? I am using Prestashop 1.7.6.2 I will appreciate your help, Thanks

Will my event tag ga(....) will work if i install the google analytics code via gtm ? Or it better to use gtm event tracking (also will multiple event gtm trigger will effect the site load speed)

Hello. We have an e-commerce site at Candycorner.ph that runs both Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager plugin. The issue is that the e-commerce data is not all showing on the Google Analytics panel recently. Not all sales are being reflected.
