Whenever I hear Iron Gear pickups, I am always blown away by their clarity. Looking forward to the finish and tone test

I don’t have much of a reference other than the cheap belcat pickups I’ve used before but I have to agree that the iron gear pickups sound amazing!

Hi John, That is an amazing looking guitar. As others have said about using Gold pickups but having seen the "Finished " body I agree with you in that the chrome adds another contrast to the look. Was that you playing during the soldering processes? Take care John and off to watch Episode 12. Cheers, Huw

Thanks Huw. As I think I have posted on another comment, I did consider gold but I think that was too similar in colour to the copper and would have made it confusing. the chrome gives a contrast of sorts. No that wasnt me playing im afraid. Watch out for a new video where you will hear me play. you might want to avoid that one! lol

@@JohnClothier Hi John, I had seen your reply on your thoughts I was just saying, without having said it, I agreed with your choice. A bit confusing I know. Sorry. Huw

Sorry Huw. I wasn’t clear. I saw that you were agreeing. I was explaining my own personal reasons for the decision.

Never ever blow on solder and always pre-tin everything first.
