I’ve always been curious as to what the franchise would’ve been if they continued with the anthology series because I genuinely like SOTW for what it is. Hope they continue the story of Michael while creating the anthology show

This happens with EVERY Halloween series. H3 bombed so it brought back Michael H6 failed so we got H20 Resurrection failed so we got Rob Zombie films Then his movies failed and we got the DDG Trilogy And Halloween Ends failed, and now we’re back to rebooting it again

If you’ve ever read the novelization of the original Halloween, there’s a section in the book we’re Loomis is trying to convince the higher ups that Michael is dangerous, but they Don’t believe him, and eventually staff and patients end up dead around the asylum, but Loomis can never prove that it was Michael. I would love for them to make a prequel series based off that section in the book. Maybe even use that as a starting point for a new series of movies.

I always thought the Halloween franchise would do really well as an anthology mini-series; each episode involves a separate story taking place on Halloween night (like the movie "Trick 'R Treat"), but Michael Myers is the over-arching "evil" which runs through all the stories and ties them together. ....I mean, slasher movies already are somewhat episodic; each kill is set up and paid-off, and it would be cool to see an entire SHOW dedicated to multiple people, their Halloween plans, shenanigans and whathaveyou... with it all culminating in Michael's mindless horror of killing indiscriminately, and putting his black mark on Halloween.

The character study on trauma and the metaphorical, symbolic imagery of the white horse in RZ's H2 as well as the psychological aspect of Kills is literally what I love most! Going in for a more traumatic, psychological and philosophical approach is my thing! To me, it makes the film more than just a film. My only issue with H2 was how it got supernatural at the end. Otherwise, I would've loved the whole film. Was disappointed we didn't get a third one. As for Kills, no issues there! Loved that film. Still can't get over the fact it was done by the same guy who did Ends....

I met JJC two weekends ago at a horror convention in Minnesota. I asked him since his franchise is wrapped up, now from a fan stand point, what would he like to see in the future when Michael Myers inevitably comes back. He right away said he wouldn’t say anything because he doesn’t want to give anything away because they already know what they’re doing next and he knows about it. He then joked he’d tell me when it happened. Guess we’ll see what’s in store for the future of the franchise

You are 100% right about A24 and Michael Myers Halloween not blending. Michael Myers is very simple and very dope. His simple nature, "the shape" of evil, is literally why he is so menacing. No need to complicate that. We appreciate a simple story still.

I NEVER get tired of horror anthology series! I honestly wish they had them ALL YEAR ROUND!! MULTIPLE SERIES!! I grew up on Are You Afraid Of The Dark, Goosebumps, Twilight Zone and the others. Sure there have been some not so good ones and some bot so good reboots but IDC…KEEP EM COMING!!

Honestly, at this point, I’m not sure we should get any more. I love Halloween, it’s probably my second-favorite horror movie franchise after Saw, but the story’s done. The Blumhouse trilogy, despite its problems, made a complete story that ended things in a good place. The only ways to continue this franchise now are to 1. start completely from scratch (which I don’t think they should do this soon) 2. continue one of the previous timelines (which I believe COULD be good, but would most likely suck), or do something extremely different for the franchise from a plot perspective while trying to keep the soul of it intact. Honestly, I only really have one idea: make a completely stand alone movie that can act as a sequel to any of the previous timelines while also being able to not be a sequel to any them. (For example, give him the thorn tattoo, but never really talk about it and leave it ambiguous as to whether or not it’s real or just something he got in prison). Honestly, though, I’m not even sure if that would be good. For most horror franchises, I can envision what I want to see next, but Halloween’s the exception. As much as I love it, I don’t feel like there’s really much left to do with it outside of parodies.

Thank God, I hated how the 2018 Halloween Timeline ended. I actually really liked 2018 and loved Kills but Ends absolutely ruined everything for me and this is our chance for redemption💯

In my opinion, I think it would be better if “Halloween Ends” got a remake or some reshoots. I know that they were filming back to back with “Halloween Kills,” so it was kinda got mixed up.

Michael is Halloween. Without him, you have no franchise, that's why I didn't understand why he was killed off. I'm 6'5 235 lbs, and have been portraying Michael Myers since I was in my teens. I'm going to make a compilation video of all the different recordings of me playing Michael and see what people think. I would give absolutely anything to play, Michael Myers. Please, someone hear my plee.

Halloween kills is probably the best movie I've ever had with Michael Myers it showed how powerful he was ,i loved it

and also what i really did like about the rob zombie one , that they showed michael rly as a huge guy. It defintily adds to the realism of his strength. and that mask man i just watched a short clip, that mask and way his face is shaped. idk how to discribe it, its not so round. it goes way thinner and more slim to the chin. it just looks so much better. also the cover of rob zombies halloween is epic. and tbh i would love it if they give it rob zombie again. i kinda wanna watch it now again :D

They gotta give us another halloween movie where it takes place 30 to 40 years after Halloween 4 with jamie Lloyd. And make a trilogy to have her finish her story like Lori strode.

I would absolutely love to see the Halloween 3 season of the witch get its series as John carpenter intended for it to go, it would be great to see where the stories go from there! Can’t wait to see where they go with Michael myers

I heard it's pretty much off the table but I would love a Danielle Harris return with Jamie Lee Curtis and a different timeline. My guess is it will be a prequel TV show which I think would be a big mistake. I also think an anthology TV series is possible. I'm glad just to get more Michael. I wish that Halloween ends would have taken place the same night like I was supposed to. I read the novel and the movie would have made so much more sense if they would have just stuck to it and then it would have easily been the best Halloween series ever. It's definitely the best version of Michael we ever got. I agree with you there Chris.

I think Halloween should go back to the original plan, having horror anthologies, but they can also fit them in the same universe as Michael and season of the witch.
