@@connormcmillan6761 All of noble team was just a mere thousands meters from a nuclear blast the size of a city (glassing beam) a normal human would have a lot of problems whit that much radiation in some time, while they just got their energy shields down for some time, but while it was reloading she could die very easy to high penetration weapons, just like when she dies. Just have that in mind smh

I watch this having just finished halo reach for the first time roughly 30ish minutes ago. I knew what was coming. I’d seen the video essays, the cutscene movies, the gameplay, all of it. Still, watching my character die still made me feel sad and empty

"Why don't we have armor like this yet?" Actually some people have developed heavy armor based off of the halo games but if I remember correctly the military considers it too expensive to actually put into production.

Well I mean in lore that armor costs as much as a Frigate Class warship. Like the Savanna if you need clarification. They are powered by a small nuclear reactor on the back.

It also has a fundamental problem: It provides the biggest advantage in a situation it's worthless in. How can that be? Best place to have full armor is urban warfare. But the weight of every viable heavy suit put before the military so far is such that floors would collapse under them, meaning you basically can't use them in urban warfare. We need some lighter materials, or tougher building standards.

Honestly, it was the most depressing Halo game, but also one of the most badass ones out there. The sacrifices of Noble Team truly gave humanity its last hope in the war against the Covenant and set the course for Master Chief’s story. The Original and Vastly Superior ‘Rogue One’.

i’m pretty sure in the lore it’s explained that emile puts a scratch on his helmet for each confirmed Covie kill after his brother was killed in the spartan program. the scratches also do not hinder his vision since spartan visors were designed and programmed to not be affected by any exterior damage unless it penetrates the visor. so emile actually still has the same FOV as he would have without the scratches
