Күн бұрынI was kindly sent on the first ever Fjallraven classic in the UK by my good friends at Nordic Outdoors. The event was flawless and everyone volunteering did a great job in supplying us with food, water and treats at the checkpoints along the way. The party at the end was a night I'll remember for a long time and I'll definitely be back next year for more of the same. Nice walk that up to the pools of dee i live not far from there just outside a village called Aboyne you maybe drove through thereunless you came over Glenshee. You can carry on walking to Aviemore great walk and stunning scenery glad you enjoyed it also some awesome wild swimming pools up there passed linn o dee to linn of qoich at the devils punch bowl.

I put up a dome tent once and it looked like your pitch. Decided to nip to the Old Dungeon Ghyll for a quick Old Peculiar but the 1 pint turned into over a gallon and throwing out time before I pitched up. It was embarrassing being seen climbing out of the tent in the morning. 🤣

Climbed that hill behind the check point bothy a couple of years back in winter. There was so much snow it was easily 6-7ft deep there.

That happened to me, I was there last week. Unfortunately Haze, Becky and co got so far ahead of everyone else nobody really saw them on the trail which was a shame

@@cooperman8850 Unfortunately for you it would be a case of don't meet your heros, he's not going to hike with you. Look at him? they were above all of us commoners and route marching it! There were 30+ nationalities there to mix with, like minded people, enjoy four days in the wild. Those three just stuck to there own little clique, maybe rushed it to get a signal again and comments from KZfaq! Even the dancing at the end, it was all about the filming and nothing about meeting like minded people and dancing with others that everyone else did... very disappointed in those three but looking forward to those youtubers films who actually partook in the spirit of the event.

@@grumpygoat9478 maybe some people don't like being in huge groups and want to walk at their own pace instead of hanging around waiting for others 🤔 I'm sure filming is a big part of their lives so to call them out for what is essentially a job is abit shity but I guess your name says it all.

@@cooperman8850 Yeah I get it, some people like to hike alone and not meet others and have their own pace, so does begs the question why do this type of event at all. I don't understand it. The classic is about enjoying nature, taking your time and stopping on the trail, soaking it all in and having an extra coffee whilst meeting all from around the world. If that's for you then I hope you manage to do it next year.

I got my Gransfors axe off Nordic Outdoors.. They matched my initials with the blacksmiths initials on the axe head which was a nice touch.. Great stuff Hazy mate..
