5:10 *The low-key Uncle Rob subplot:* Peter says his brother is away while "renovating" his home. Then you see the house and it looks condemned. Rob likely bought an abandoned piece of crap for cheap so he could brag to his rich brother that he has a "townhouse in NYC." In reality, it needs a total overhaul that will cost a fortune just to get up to code.

I agree with Doug....the scene where Kevin throws the bricks at them is ridiculously, hilariously stupid....made even more so because he keeps chucking the bricks and Marv doesn't think to move out of the way. He just takes it like a man. lol

I just figured he was in a daze & couldn't focus enough to do so. Now the 3rd or 4th time he was clearly sapient enough to move out the way but instead he was just mumbling scared.

To be fair after being hit in the head with a brick the first 2 times Marv probably wouldn’t have had the ability to move either quickly or even know where the heck he was you can see the first one decks him, then the second hits him while he’s trying to get up from the first, and they keep coming

For years I thought Home Alone 2 and the first one were one movie because they are so similar that my kid brain couldn't process that they were separate. I just mash both of them together. Even now if someones asks _"Remember that scene in Home Alone"_ my mind throws in some Home Alone 2. Its crazy lol.

This made me think of Tim Curry cause last time I saw him in anything was in Criminal Minds (2010) and he had gotten so unhealthy looking in couple of years cause before that I saw him in The Secret of Moonacre (2008) and he seem okay at that time. It got me worried but I was like okay.. He is just getting old. Like everyone. Well.. Now I checked again why I haven't seen him and I didn't know thet he suffered a stroke. Darn. Too bad. And sad. But he seems to be kinda okay with it.

Me too! Now, technically, Home Alone 1 is a "better movie"; is more realistic and "makes more sense" (like the fear of kevin of being alone, etc) It just that Home Alone 2 is way more funny, entertains better, and imho, is just more enjoyable. Home Alone 1 feels "stiff" in comparative. Again, just my opinion.

"first viewing" of home alone 2. :p Definitely the first viewing. The three sea shells was every kids dream or the cookies and candies? 5:47 Freaking Tim Curry. Are pigeons suppose to be scary? Those bricks should have seriously been way more gruesome . This movie feels like it doesn't really accomplish, anything during it.

I mean, it's a totally unnecessary sequel that KNOWS it's a totally unnecessary sequel and so sets about parodying itself and all other similar sequels. It has no fucks to give, and therefore somehow becomes kind of glorious. That's a goldmine for videos. (Also, Gremlins 1 is kind of overdone. There's not much left to say about it. G2 always gets overlooked.)

See that's strange, I remember growing up with only Home Alone 2 and Ghostbusters 2 playing on TV constantly, I have no memories of GH1 until maybe 10ish yrs ago. I'd have to look for HA1 through our VHS collection to watch it, instead.
