All of the events depicted in this video are directly from George R.R. Martin's novel, Fire and Blood. This should be one of the major events that start the Dance of the Dragons in HBO's new Game of Thrones prequel series, House of the Dragon. In this video, I talk about what happens when Aemond One-Eye Targaryen meets Lucerys Velaryon at Storm's End, during a meeting with Lord Baratheon. After realizing Lord Baratheon has already struck a deal with Aemond Targaryen, Luke leaves Storm's End in a hurry, on his dragon, Arrax. This is when Aemond Targaryen and Vhagar catch up with him over Shipbreaker Bay, where the epic dragon battle begins. Unfortunately, Lucerys Velaryon and his dragon, Arrax, die after being attacked by Aemond and Vhagar. How will House of the Dragon Season 1 end? This starts the war of fire and blood. Indeed, most conflicts don't have a truly right or wrong side. It just comes down to your allegiances and biases. It was pretty hypocritical for Daemon to claim "Eye for an eye, son for a son" even though they would not have been okay with "Eye for an Eye" when Aemond lost his eye.

Right? I think the team black fanboys are just embarrasing, they truly believe that Rhaenyra, Daemon and their allies and family are innocents, that they are the good guys of the story, this is GoT, there are no innocents or heroes, just characters doing whatever they can to thrive

Thank you for this video. Well done. I know the source material, but In episode 7 - when Rhaenyra and Daemon watched Vaghar and Rhaenyra said, "who is it?" - the look Daemon's face told me he was going to get even. Even though at that time, Aemond had not yet lost an eye, it was as though Daemon felt offended that Vaghar, his wife's dragon, was ridden by someone other than his daughter. That was my take on the character's expression. What an actor! He conveys everything without saying a word.

as sad as this event is, the other diplomatic mission was successful. Jace securing the north especially the support of winterfell was the most crucial in this event. The Starks continued the war even after Rhaenyra and Jace's death and installed Rhaenyra's son with Daemon as the new King, winning the war for the Blacks.

@@TalkingThrones Yeah, I really hope they draw the fight out, too. It should be a massacre, but it shouldn't be over immediately. I want to see Aemond and Vhagar play with their food, making it slow and painful. Arrax will be thrashing and fighting as hard as he can, but it just does nothing. I also think they should keep all the lightning crackling around them, to light the scene better. This should be the epic, defining moment in the finale. I think it's been confirmed that this is how the season will end.

Daemon’s character arc is amazing. You hate him you love him, it’s like the girlfriend or boyfriend you can’t leave no matter what they do because the relationship is so interesting.

@@fahimmohameds I hate the “there are no heroes or villains in Asoiaf” argument because yes there are. Villains are Joffrey, Ramsey, Mountain, Tywin, Cersei. Even from House Targaryen: Maegor, Aegon IV, Aerys II. Heroes are: Ned, Robb, Arya Stark, Jon Snow, Dani (in the books) Also why are heroes or villains seen by Asoiaf community as being bad and childish? Yes there are morally grey characters. And characters who act on their own self interest but comic book supervillains are usually acting in their own self interest and has a reason behind all the evil they do. Look at Thanos or Killmonger, or the bad guy from Big-Hero 6.

I’m excited for two dragon battles in particular. The one between Rhaenys and Aegon and Aemond. I know one of my favorite characters will die but she went down swinging in the most badass way. That and Caraxes Vs Vhagar. I think it’s interesting that in the books Caraxes basically wins, dies later but the idea that he brought down vhagar is insane to me.

Luc being so young and inexperienced is what killed him. The storm was a bad sign, his dragon's reaction to hearing Vhagar was a warning but seeing her was his last chance to get away.

I don't normally feel that phobia-level fear of large things I've heard people have, but seeing her scope when Aemond was climbing actual RIGGING to teach her saddle made me really uncomfortable. I kept saying, "She's too big!" Not as if they had depicted her wrong, but that I was emotionally unprepared for that kind of disconcerting size.

Vhagar makes a sound in the air rushing by. It’s Drogon’s fire breathing sound. I noticed it the maiden flight with One-Eye. The whoosh of his flight has that distinct noise, the same sound was used when Dany burned the Khals. It’s a nice touch. Vhagar is REAL dragon. He’s terrifying.

I can relate to the fist punch in the air, I did the same thing throughout this episode, saying “f^@& yeah baby, Game of Thrones is back!”. I was hesitant at first, but this episode sold it for me, if this is what they’ve done with the budget they had, I can’t wait to see more. (There’s some hope for the “Lord Snow” series yet.)

Just a little GOT idea I was just thinking how cool it would have been if Cersei and Jaime were together in that lower level of the red keep in the end and danarys has drogon blow fire there and Jaime burns right while cersei is kissing him and he turns to ashes literally in her mouth. Her joy. Just like Tyrion said, then she lets out rattling screams that makes the room shake and everything falls on top of her and kills her. That would have been a more epic ending for them. IMHO 😅

Obviously she didn't know that Luke would be there or that this confrontation would happen. Neither of the boys knew the other would be there. She's a mother and will know what that act means. It means her sons are now fair game.

House of The Dragon is basically Hbo’s Rome, but with a bigger budget and dragons. The dialogues, acting, political intrigue, are about on the same level. Oh, and there tons of nudity in both. But the music is pretty much identical. I can’t help but think of Rome when watching House of The Dragon. Very similar vibe.

Even if her sons were not black haired, and true born the dance of the dragon would still happen because of Alicent's ambitions and the way she poisoned her sons against their half sister .

I hope they show the really big dragon battle at Rooks Rest from the book. If they do it as described it is going to be epic AF. Not spoiling any plot points but lets just say 3 dragons crash to the ground so hard they kill and destroy everything within the vicinity from the impact and only one rises from the ashes unharmed. It's going to look so badass if done right.

Everything they hatched after it were broken and stunted and died shortly after or brings disaster on the ones trying to hatch them like at Summerhall. The war devastates the realm utterly as well.

Blood and Cheese has already been foreshadowed. In the scene where leanor and rhaenyra have the rushed wedding, the camera pans on jeoffreys blood still pooled on the floor and a rat(CHEESE was a rat catcher) comes up and starts drinking his blood(BLOOD).
