Welcome back for another Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon update video. In this video, I will be breaking down and explaining what happens in HBO's new House of the Dragon Season 2 Official Teaser Trailer. Earlier today, HBO released their first official teaser trailer for House of the Dragon's second season. This new season of House of the Dragon will reveal what happens as Aegon II Targaryen and Rhaenyra Targaryen fight for the Iron Throne. The new teaser trailer shows scenes of the Battle at Rook's Rest, Aemond Targaryen riding Vhagar, Daemon Targaryen riding Caraxes, Rhaenyra Targaryen riding Syrax, Addam of Hull riding Seasmoke, Baela Targaryen riding Moondancer, Aegon II Targaryen sitting on the Iron Throne, and many other amazing scenes. The thing is it’s not exactly about seasons being better than each other. It’s about improvement and the anticipation of diving into the plot more. With each season the show will continue to get even better.

The shot of Alicent in the white dress @ 5:42 is believed to be a vision/dream of haelena’s foreshadowing the battle of the gods eye and Aemond’s death. I think that would look incredible on screen. Has potential to be one of the greatest cinematic scenes of all time.

Aegon II isn't a true heir. Neither is Aemond. Their mother isn't a Targaryen. Daemon and Rhaenyra's kids with each other are true born Targaryens. Daemon and Rhaenyra are also born out of incest between two Targaryen parents. Incest is heavily promoted in that family so their blood can bond with dragons. It's ok, Team Green. A true Targaryen will rule it anyway after the Dance ends.

I think it's possible that they may be switching dragons in the show so Addam of Hull ends up with a different dragon than in the book, so they can bring back Laenor, since dragons can only have one rider at a time. It could explain why Rhaenyra looks so pensive and kinda worried on the beach meeting with Seasmoke's rider.

@@UndaintedFamiliar Because only she, Daemon, and Ser Qarl know that Laenor is alive. Hers and Daemon's marriage is based on the fact that Laenor is "dead".

Also that dragon on the beach is much bigger than Syrax. Just look at its wings compared to Syrax. In the dragon scale/size charts I've seen, Seasmoke appears to be smaller than Syrax. Not that any of those matter, but is it possible that's just another dragon?

If Laenor comes back; that changes the entire bloodline/storyline since he was the heir of Driftmark. Aside from Addams legitimacy concersn, If he was older than Addam, he would have a stronger claim, and also as son of Princess Rhaenys Targaryen, a strong claim to the Iron Throne. Also eliminating the idea that the Velaryon line is extinct in GoT @@RyLHatch1989

Meleys, Sunfyre and Vhagar battle will happen this season so there will be at least one epic dragon battle with more to come in later seasons.

The lightning flashes over the Iron Throne as Aemond walks toward it, are a call back to the storm that raged when Aemond and Vhagar pursued Jacaerys and Vermax.

I think it maybe Rhaenyra & Laenor because Seasmoke won’t take another rider until he is actually dead. So maybe it’s some kind of negotiation or something I don’t know

I think Helaena will confront Rhaenyra for killing her son and Rhaenyra will realise that Daemon went against her orders. Meaning, she can’t control Daemon.

Rhaenys and Meleys are way experienced than the two who jumped her. Meleys would definitely kill Sunfyre and probably give a fight and escape Vhagar too, but 2 against 1 was too much.

I think Alicent is looking out at the lake is the final season scene when the queen takes her hostage and stripes her titles and her house colors. Alicent is left with nothing but regret. She's looking out at the lake where her son died when he battles against his uncle and both of them died.

The image of Aemond eye-balling the throne makes me think that it is actually Aemond on Vhagar who will injure Aegon, not Rhaenys on Melys.

The reason people where fleeing including alicent is that the season is most likely going to end with Rhaenyra and Daemons taking of the kings landing capitol.

Rhaneys was smart attacking Aegon fiercely in the fight. If she successfully killed him the war would be close to over. They’d have to get rid of his sons, Aemond and Daeron.

Two of the things I personally NEED from Season 2. 1st is Caraxes CGI to look better. There were moments in season one where his face looked down right horrible. 2nd is for Sunfyre The Golden to finally be shown in detail on screen and for the makers to do his appearance justice as he was considered to be the most beautiful dragon to ever live. If he appears muted and drab I might just die a little inside. I dont need him to be Smaug covered in molten gold shiny but pretty damn close to it. I'm also pretty bummed for the prospect of the show runners omitting Nettles from the show. If they do it makes me wonder if they left her out because they didn't think viewers would like the arc of the story where Daemon chooses her over Rhaenyra. Pandering to viewers who over estimate The Rouge Prince's ability to be truly in love with someone. He can love someone but only in a very Daemon way. I've seen several romantic heart comments online who don't understand him IMO and are far too attached to the idea that he and Rhaenyra are "Soul mates" who love eachother UNCONDITIONALLY. Anyway...... we'll see what happens.

tbh I think season one will stay the best one for me. the reason is simple, the dance of dragon will be massive battlesand fun to watch, but I allways enyoyed the scheming in kings landing the most and I think there wont be much scheming after the dance begun.

I still think Laenor will come back. It’s not possible for anyone else to ride a dragon if the dragon rider is still alive. I think he may be Adam. Or rather they will say laenor is Adam as to protect Rhaenyra, her marriage and the legitimacy of her kids with Daemon. It would explain why Corless was so taken with Adam n made him his heir. But then they show a different man in the trailer so I could be wrong. But I still think Laenor will come back. They kept him alive which was a change from the book for a reason. It wouldn’t make sense not to bring him back.
