How to Have a Saving Relationship with Christ
A = Admit you are a sinner and you can’t be perfect and holy enough in God’s eyes to be right with Him on your own. Turn away from your sin.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Rom. 3:23
B = Believe that Jesus (God in the flesh) died on your behalf to pay the price for your sin and to give you a way to be right with God - to be forgiven. He lived the perfect life you couldn’t live. He died the death you deserve and rose from the dead in victory over sin, death, and the grave on your behalf!
“The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus, our Lord.” Rom. 6:23
C = Confess that Jesus is your Lord - this means, Jesus is now your Master and you live your life for Him and His glory rather than for yourself. You say it out loud to others and you live it from now on. You lay down your will and your desires and follow Him, inviting Him to direct and use your life for His will.
“If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved.” Rom. 10:9-10

Very sound biblical teaching as always April. Thank you for your commitment to truth. I appreciate your heart. I just signed up for zoom sessions for a prayer group I’m starting focusing on praying for our country, Christians and non-Christians. We so need that at this time.

Good reminder to actually apply Bible verses to one's life -go to no other sources but The Word of Christ. It may be very tough for those who have been lukewarm and or have fellowship with darkness. it is good though because people will be seeing clearly their choice of good or evil, whether they want to remain in fellowship with darkness or not. Ephesians 5:11 “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.” Matthew 12:30 “He that is not with Me is against Me; and he that gathereth not with Me scattereth abroad.”

These are the things we should all be doing every day as believers. If we are lukewarm this is definitely the time to become hot for the Lord so we don't fall away. Yes, those who associate casually with the church and whose hearts are really in love with the world will likely not continue to stand firm. My prayer is that many will wake up and come to Christ and be strengthened in their faith to be true to the Lord to the end.

@@AprilCassidy Yes very good Sister and sadly this also may even mean actually leaving a church since many have signed onto the 501 c3 clause (many years ago) allowing the state to run over them (as this is manifesting now) instead of Christ over the pastor the state is. Stay strong. 1 Timothy 6: 12 KJV

Angelica C. Pickles - Sure! The Daniel 9 describes 70 "weeks of years." Each "week" is 7 years. The 69 weeks of years have already happened, ending in 30AD. The the last "week" or last 7 years begins when Israel affirms a peace treaty with the AntiChrist. At first, Israel and all the world love this charismatic leader. He allows them to rebuild their Temple on the Temple Mount. But 3.5 years into the treaty, the AntiChrist demands to be worshipped as God in the Jewish Temple. The next 3.5 years are absolutely devastating. Over the entire 7-year time frame, about 3/4 of the world's population dies as God pours out His righteous judgment and wrath against the people and nations who refuse to repent of their sin. Rev. 11:2-3 describes the Great Tribulation, which is the last half of the 7 years. The rapture occurs, I believe, before the 7-year period begins. The Tribulation is often referred to in Scripture as "the Time of Jacob's Trouble." It is the Tribulation that will ultimately open the eyes of the Jews to recognize Jesus as their Messiah.
