THE ABC'S OF SALVATION
A = Admit you are a sinner and you can’t be perfect and holy enough in God’s eyes to be right with Him on your own. Turn away from your sin.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Rom. 3:23
B = Believe that Jesus (God in the flesh) died on your behalf to pay the price for your sin and to give you a way to be right with God - to be forgiven. He lived the perfect life you couldn’t live. He died the death you deserve and rose from the dead in victory over sin, death, and the grave on your behalf!
“The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus, our Lord.” Rom. 6:23
C = Confess that Jesus is your Lord - this means, Jesus is now your Master and you live your life for Him and His glory rather than for yourself. You say it out loud to others and you live it from now on. You lay down your will and your desires and follow Him, inviting Him to direct and use your life for His will.
“If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved.” Rom. 10:9-10

2:00 It's when those choices are a bone of contention that difficulties arise. If both spouses in a marriage have total freedom of choice, it's going to cause friction. No couple makes choices that are 100% harmonious. There has to be compromise in one's own desires in order to honour one's spouse. It is this sacrificial giving that communicates love, honour and respect.

I thought I could do this all my life sadly even when I was younger it did make me miserable all my life!So much wisdom thank you so much this is encouraging,because I have been trying to control my husband telling him to not play video games ,read his bible etc,..Time to ask god for help

Yes! Me, too! We really need older, wiser women to share this with us when we are young. Such an important truth. I have a video on how to encourage your man to value your influence that may be a blessing. We can't control. Pressuring and pushing only repels them. But we can influence, encourage, affirm, honor, and inspire. That is the way to bless our men. Not preaching, nagging, lecturing, and looking down on them. Our godly example and attitude speaks much more loudly than our words every could. And then we also give God room to work. He is the Holy Spirit, after all, not me!

Thank you for reminding us that we cant change anyone. I forget that sometimes. I love that you are sharing the abcs of salvation at the end of the videos. April: what do you recommend if a husband watches loud sinful music at home and he doesnt care at all if there are children around? And he would get super mad if i tell him to please put on headphones so children dont listen to the profane sinful content he enjoys watching the entire day.

I notice you wore more make-up in your videos from 6 years ago. Did you make a change based on personal conviction, your husband's leading, or allergies (you mentioned you struggle with many)? Just curious because I have been convicted lately, with my overspending on clothing and beauty products. I feel like I am disrespecting my husband through this. You look incredibly young without make-up. You have beautiful skin & don't need it, anyway.♥️

It's actually kind of a funny story. When I first decided to learn to be a respectful, godly wife, I didn't know what things made Greg feel respected. He didn't give me much feedback so I read where a lot of husbands really appreciate their wives fixing their hair the way they like it, wearing makeup, and dressing femininely. I wanted to dress femininely after doing an experiment with wearing skirts/dresses for a week to see how I felt. I thought it was a ridiculous experiment, but realized after a few days that I did feel a lot more feminine and beautiful in skirts so began wearing them all the time. I started wearing my hair down a lot because I knew Greg liked it that way best. And I started wearing makeup to show him that he was special to me. But then, about 6 years later, I was talking with him and found out he didn't care if I wore makeup or not. I realized, if I am not wearing makeup for him, who am I wearing it for? I had to do a heart check on my own vanity at that moment. I really love not wearing makeup. It's a lot less of a hassle. And it is definitely better with my allergies anyway. I feel beautiful without it. Makeup is a matter of personal conviction, in my view. The biggest issues are our motives. Why do we want to wear it? Who do we want to impress? Are we exalting self or vanity? Or do we just feel beautiful with it on or wear it to honor or bless our husbands? Much love!
