Many patients and health care professionals think knee replacements only last 10 years, or can only be done once and recommend waiting until you are older. Those statements are false.
Many total knee replacements and total hip replacements will last more than 20 years. And if they fail for any reason a revision surgery can usually correct it.
Here I will share some information on the longevity of current total knee implants.
