4 yrs ago I was drugged then raped. My way of dealing , was that I didn’t . Now I have gone down a downed spiral . I can’t hold a job . I can’t get out of the bed . I feel hopeless, alone , and have really just given up . I’m a shell of what I used to be . I don’t even recognize myself . So , very sad .

I'm still living the same nightmare still afraid and in pain and depressed all I can think about is suicide and how I would rest afterwards, I been raped when I was 4 years old I'm 26 year old now. I can't tell anyone about it or get help. I'm glad she get her life together I know how hard it is.

I was a victim of rape it's hurts and I can still see him everyday of my life coming to hurt me I can't sleep anymore am suffering from insomnia because of this n couple with my parents dead I feel alone I can't tell friends they will mock that a man of 50 rape a girl of 11 am 27 now it's hurt that my parents weren't wealthy to put him in prison I cry for freedom n justice because I still see him coming to hurt me I can't never enjoy sex life again I sex for money not pleasure I 😢 for God to forgive me n restore my life back

It's incredible how mothers sometimes need to push aside or bottle up their personal emotions and sufferings to put the happiness of their kids upfront. No one should go through this type of situation in their life, and less while serving their country. Much admired.

The same thing happened to my ex girlfriend's daughter when she was in the Navy. I did not like the way the case was handled. The scars are with her for the rest of her life. One thing that helped with her healing was a change of scenery. She decided to settle into civilian life.

Sorry to hear , unfortunatelly happens much than people think I was sexually abused but when i was only 7 and when you're kid you don't realise mentally could leave a damage fortunately I'm strong as a character and I didn't need any help at all but I do believe I'm not social person because of this and also mentally abusing is as bad as physical abusing I'd be totally different person than I am today.

I was raped well kinda idk cuz I was 8 and he came to my room and told me to get naked for him and he well buy me stuff so I did it cuz he got me stuff and so I got use to it and everytime I wanted something he well tell me I already know what to do so I did it I was used and it hurts I haven’t tell my mom cuz I don’t trust her all that happen when I was 8 or 5 im 14 now and I tried killing myself my mom never notice I use to cut thinking bout starting cuz what happen Years ago is my fault cuz I let him then there was another man he treated. Me saying he was gonna cut my fingers he left my mom house when I was 7 or so and when he came back I was 13 and he was playing with my brother and he touched me down there I got mad and he said he was playing but I always stayed shut cuz it late 😩😭

20 years later, just like the video, i confronted an abuser while he was on trial from another girl he had touched inappropriately a couple years ago. If you have anyone else with a balanced moral-self, (at home, other family, a school counselor) if you ask, they will help. From that trial, I learned that the statue of limitations on victims to denounce their abusers for them to be prosecuted of childhood sexual molestation or rape is (depending I which state you live) up to 15 years, in Georgia (where I live) it's 15 years. In a couple states up to 20. Yes, my particular situation had expired but I served as supporting testimony in that girl's case. If it wasn't for that brave little girl that spoke up, I'd be still quiet about my experience. I also did it to show my child no matter even if your own family goes against you while u are fighting to denounce someone, you keep strong and go through with it. (My father was not on my side) Who was this experience of going to trial for? Not for my dad, not to sting the perpetrators family, it was for me. To tell my youger self that "you did tell the truth, fought it trough and won."

I am ex British Military and I know the Armed Forces do not like bad publicity. Now what the senior Management side (Senior Officers) try to do, is keep it covered up if that can. They have really trained cold hearts and Bastards in the know, seem to take advantage of this. Closing ranks can normally make the Victim feel alone and feeling helpless.
