I am 60 and cannot do retin A, or most commercial skincare. I did try rice water, loved the immediate effect on my skin! I use beef tallow and castor oil as a lotion, great for psoriasis! I recently started using 4 drops of castor oil, 2 drops jojoba, 2 drops of frankincense and 2 drops of helichrysum. Its a a relaxing ritual and my face seems love it! Thanks for this reminder.

Actually, brown rice only was very popular diet back in 70s and 80s - long forgotten dietary path that came from Japan called Macrobiotics (not restricted to brown rice only but based on the consumption of whole grains)... Diet no. 7 was the toughest one used for the most difficult health cases when consumption would be restricted to consume only whole cooked grains for extended period of times. Only after some time after improvement, other vegetables or salt would be added... It healed me from chronic pancreatitis 13 years ago.

Easy way to add more tallow to the diet. A sprinkle of smoked sea salt makes a fun flavour addition, if you’re feeling fancy… 😏 Cheers to that.

I was raised by a single mom and her aunt and uncle used to babysit us at night when mom was working. I loved everything as a child, the opposite of a picky eater, except for liver. Aunt and Uncle made liver atleast twice a week. I was not allowed to leave the table until I ate everything on my plate. So, twice a week Mom would come to pick us up at 2 a.m. and I'd be sitting there infront of a cold plate of liver. It's psychological, plus it still tastes like ass. 😂

Very interesting that said it was not smelling good. There was a rice and water experiment (please look into this). It stinks because the vibes are off brother. Either it’s negative thinking, intentions, prayer, music or movies or something…. I am extremely Puerto Rican and we would cook rice every single night: I noticed when there was an argument in my home or something was off the old rice in the pot that we would leave water in to loosen the rice from the pot each night to clean the next day would have a foul odor. Other times when we were in good spirits or happy moods and filled with gratitude or prayer has occurred then the rice would give off a sweet fermenting aroma. Ever notice when you cook while you are in a really bad mood the food comes out bad? But when you cook and you are putting your love into the food it comes out amazing? It’s a real thing brother. May YHWH bless your life

Is the arsenic in rice going to be a problem? I'm assuming when you soak rice the arsenic seeps into the water. The reason our culture washes rice then heats it in water then rince again is to help it digest better. I'm not sure though.
