We are preparing Tomahawk Steak with garlic mushroom sauce, sautéed broccoli and grilled cherry tomatoes. The tomahawk steak is essentially a ribeye beef steak specifically cut with at least five inches of rib bone left intact. It's an incredibly tender steak with buttery, rich flavour. This section of the animal naturally collects more intramuscular fat, creating the beautiful white lines of fat - the fantastic marbling unique to the rib primal.
Tomahawk is gradually spread through and over with extremely beautiful and delicate marbling. Combined with the attached rib bone, working in unison... It makes your steak an unforgettable delectable treat.
Ingredients:
Marination:
1 Tomahawk steak - 750 gm
3 cloves - Garlic chopped
1 spring - rosemary chopped
1 spring - thyme chopped
1 spring - parsley chopped
1 Tablespoon - olive oil
1 Teaspoon - crushed black pepper
Salt - to taste
1 cube - butter
Garlic Mushroom sauce:
1 Tablespoon - olive oil
3 cloves - garlic chopped
1 nos - shallots chopped
100 gm - mushrooms
60 ml - white wine
1 spring - thyme chopped
1 spring - rosemary chopped
1 spring - parsley chopped
1 cube - butter
100 ml - cream
1 Teaspoon - crushed black pepper
Salt - to taste
Garnish with sauté broccoli and grilled cherry tomatoes
