HEY, I just discovered your video, I've got a question. I've got a welly 1/24 die cast 68' z28. I was trying to remove the hood so I could strip the car and paint it. when I did one of the hinges snapped off. is there any way of fixing it, properly? would soldering work? I sometimes modify cars, and detail the paint job for sale on eBay. ill send you a sample pic of one of my cars

Hi, I just got a Disney Star Wars Die Cast Darth Vader Tie Fighter and it came with one of the wings detached. Would this glue work to reattach the wing?

So I bought a 1:50 scale first gear Komatsu motor grader Got it out of the package and the pin that allows the turn table to shift left and right broke out of its spot along with one of the hydraulic lifting cylinders broke out of its hole as well. This was like this when I first brought it out of the box. Is there anyway to fix these FUNCTIONAING parts or no?

A glue I recommend is The Original Super Glue. There are 2 tubes in a package. I highly recommend that you make sure it isn't gel, and it can be found at Dollar Generals for a $1.

Hey Joe… do you have any tutorials (or can direct me to something that can show me how) to do a parts swap on a 1:18 diacast car? Right now I’m fiddling around with a Maisto Lamborghini Diablo, & am thinking of doing a RC conversion on 1. Taking it apart is very easy, but it’s very common to find 1 with something on it that’s broken. Some of the parts are doors broken off the hinge, missing mirrors, or the hood or trunk are snapped. I have a junked body that I could transplant off of to other cars that I’m looking at to repair & restore them. The thing is that the joints are snuggly snapped in, & I don’t want to break the hinge trying to remove it. Can you help me out?

I somehow broke the trolling Motor on my ERTL 1/18 scale Triton bass boat. Is there a fix for this? The little cable came out and the motor needs to be glued back to the boat. Thanks!

Hardest lesson i have learned is never ever put glue and the car your fixing in the same space...Mini Champs BMW M3 E46 GTR gray, one broken rear wheel from a move ( dont ask me how it break when its iin its own box , Murphies law right there ) anyhow...glue tip dries and i poke a hole in the top with a pin to remove the dry crusty top and fail to see the "compressed" metal tube and "POP" out comes epoxy glue and right onto the top of the BMW roof. Got most of it off but the car has a tiny mark i see every time i take it down. I broke the record for number of swear words in a 2 minute span..sigh..lesson learned. Good tips Joe and i had never would have thought about that tire glue. Good info bud. Keep em coming man.

Hi thanks for sharing. 1/43 volkswagon diecast repair. Van fell, mirror was ok but door got bent, so I'm assuming I use heat to straighten it. The added isssue is that there is a dent on the outside of door, what do You recommend using to to fill it? Thanks /Rosemary

i thought it was ruby tues well thanks for your tips they come in handy fixing these little gems are quite vexing sometimes new swear words are invented though but yeah and then when you score one on ebay and it says mib yeah right look at the pics i got one with missing pieces but buyer be where and then when get one thats pretty nice you break things thats always fun but i guess nobody gets it unless your a collector its fun and nerve racking at the same time thanks joe.

I had a mistake with my fighter jet diecast i managed to solve the problem with Krazy glue & it did the trick .

I have a 1/24 scale, Franklin mint 1925 model T roadster and somehow the rod that runs in between the two front wheels that ties them together so they turn together snapped. It makes me so sad because now you can’t turn the wheels and it Hass to be posed in one certain way on display.

But I don't have the side mirror anymore :(

Simple and efficient. I didn't know the "helping hand" and now I have to buy one! For the glue I recommend Revell 39604 which is perfect for this usage. I like your energy 👍 Rock'n'roll and model cars are life 🤘🚗
