Wow.....just wow....Hannah, you did an excellent job on this video! Our house was built just 2 yrs ago and our guest bathroom's Delta tub faucet was dripping quite a bit. This video allowed this gal to repair it herself, and while the water was off, I was able to adjust the severely hot temperature of our master walk-in shower. For 2 yrs it's been super hot even though the handle was mostly towards the C (cold) mark! Thanks so much for the efforts of providing such a helpful and precise training video!

This was a huge help for me. My faucet set didn't come with any direction for the tub spout except for the ones on the bag which did not include anything about the method shown in this video. Glad I looked it up before buying everything needed for soldering

The faucet I have doesn't have any failsafe for when you're threading it on. The inside of it shifted and it's effed now. No screws inside to hold it in place.

I can't get the sleeve off it won't budge at all. I'm trying to change the temperature setting. I'm letting it sit with WD-40

Do you put clear silicone on the outside of the shower faucet handle ? I noticed you put on the inside gasket but what about water leaking in between the shower wall and faucet ?

Does your slide on adapter no longer have a set screw? I recieved only one adapter which doesn't have a set screw making me think it's a solder on one.

the only thing that is poorly documented (all websites I've see so far that sell the trim kit T13391), is IF the trim kit includes the cartridge or not. (so if you install a R10300-UNWS, then go out to get the associated trim kit T13391 - no seller (customer service) is sure if the cartridge comes with that trim kit or not - they never mention whether it does or not) or should I say, that Amazon mentions that the cartridge is part of the trim kit (R10300-UNWS), you look up the trim kit and there is no mention of it being part of the kit...

I have a defective spout. I was sent a new one but I'm having a hard time removing the old one. No one is helping me from the new home builder .It's the PIVOTAL® Monitor 14 Series H2Okinetic Tub and Shower Trim.

The delta temperature handle I got is meant to turn 180 degrees, but the cartridge only turns 90. How do adapt it?

I don't know what i did, but I thinkni just put the handle opposite side and it turned fully 180

I am having same issue and I believe this video shows the valve going only 90deg 09:54 . I am going to try your suggestion below to remove handle and put back on 180 deg,

make sure to release pressure on the tub/shower outlets before taking the bonnet nut off... ask me how I know...

Is it safe to assume I should have the water to the house off for this part? 😬 Should I hire a plumber?

@@shannonfoley2925 Hiring a licensed plumber can be a good idea. If there are not hot and cold isolation valves on either side of the main body, you will have to shut off the water to your house. I don't remember if this valve body has those, and it doesn't show in the video, if I recall correctly.

@@shannonfoley2925 Also there are a lot of plumbers who will rip you off, sell you something you don't need, etc. Be careful and avoid getting yourself into emergency situations in which you will have more limited choices about who to hire. If you find a good plumber, tell everyone about them. They will probably be more expensive than you think, and also worth every penny.

Carefully applying silicone to 3 edges of the tub filler that gets screwed on makes no sense.

I like how you deliberately don’t put silicone on the bottom of the faucet and then smear it all over the wall, making what she did completely useless 😅

You would show the easiest way to put the spout on and not soldering or using a threaded adapter....
