Thanks a bunch! I'm about to remodel and I've got copper everywhere in my house. At this point I am going to assume I've got copper at my toilet too. This is the only resource I could find online to let me know what I am getting into and I've got only one toilet at home so I can't afford to play detective. :P

Hey cool video. I have the exact same issue. An old house that had a mud floor with mosaic tiles. Just ripped out the tiles and cement and now need to patch some rotten 1/2” plywood near the flange and I want to add fresh 3/4” plywood over the old 1/2” plywood. 2 questions: 1.) Why did to reuse the old flange? When I took the toilet off, it had bolts with round heads on the bottom that just kept spinning. It was a nightmare removing them. Are there good bolts to buy that won’t spin in this flange? 2.) Did you overlay that old 1/2” plywood with new plywood? What did you do? Is there a video? Thanks!
