The blades are weight matched at the factory and the fan was in balance when we started it up. No balancing kit needed for us.

We do not recommend using any switches with this fan. The light is a color temperature changing light kit and connecting the receiver to a switch would cause the light to change color temperature each time the switch is turned off/on. The light has a memory to remember its last setting and that gets erased when the switch is turned off. We only recommend installing this fan as shown in the video - connecting the fan to the receiver and wiring the receiver to the house wiring without switches. Technically, the fan could be wired to a 2 switch setup instead of the remote, but it will require cutting the quick connect wire harness from the fan wires and void the warranty. The receiver can not be wired to a 2 switch setup.

This fan doesn't have a flush mount option.

In general, the only switch option for a remote control fan is a standard on/off switch. Connecting a dimmer switch to a remote receiver will damage the receiver.

Yes, this fan can be wired directly to the house wiring as shown in the video. In fact, due to the color changing LED and remote, we would recommend no using a switch with this fan.

@@ceilingfans101 it’s because I installed 3 of them to an outside patio but since it has remote Idk if I still need to add the light switch due to being new connection

@@CRWM3N1 , we aren't licensed electricians, but in general, we'd say no switch with these fans - just wire directly to the house wiring. Since you're installing 3 of them, we'd suggest changing the dip switch settings in each remote and receiver pair for each fan to make sure that one remote controls the intended fan. Technically, you could set them up so that one remote controlled all 3, but that could lead to operational issues if all 3 fans don't receive the remote signal at the same time and get out of sync.

What are the dimensions of the room. What is your ceiling height? Is it connected to any switches? The one we installed moved plenty of air.

@@ceilingfans101 it is connected to switches.. it is a big room .. I got two of them... At 6200 cfm it should be enough..

@@ceilingfans101 also it is on a slanted ceiling.. it clears pretty easy but idk maybe it is to close to the bottom of the shan't.. but it is connected to switches and there was a red wire that was unused

@@RydenEden 2 things, depending on room size, if you have 2 fans installed, the airflow from the 2 fans could actually be fighting each other. Also, if the fan is installed on a slanted ceiling with the included downrod, the amount of air between the ceiling and the blades will be decreased which would decrease the airflow performance. For optimal performance, the blades should be located 8-9 feet from the floor.

@@ceilingfans101 dies the fact that is attached to two switches but only works with one a big deal and that extra red wire should I just connect it too the black to.. cause speed wise it seems super slow

We would suggest just capping off the red wire and wiring like the video. This fan is not recommended for use with any switches due to the color changing light kit. If you do not have a copper ground wire, you can just cap off the green wires from the downrod and mounting bracket.
