You south Island hunters are next level, bloody awesome team. I get so sad to think those incredible animals getting destroyed, any animal that lives in those conditions deserves to live, and any hunter that ventures in there deserves the right to secure his/her trophy regardless of size. Top effort and great vid guys.

Looked like it was still running after the shot, unless it was another one. What cartridge and bullet did you use.

7mm rem mag. 180gr Eld-M. The shot was a bit high with the angle meaning a lower shot would of gone through the middle of everything rather than the top half. It did get to its feet again which you can just catch in the video but then tipped over a few seconds later and straight off the cliff into the snow. We were hoping it's slide down to us but no luck

@@ChasetheWildNZ upland game birds. Can we use your gun to hunt? Don't need trophy just enjoy the hunt and kill. Also eating the meat. One more year and I'll retire and then hunting all the time.
