Shots coming thick and fast with the 6mm Creedmoor. Its hard to keep count! Plenty of HD impacts and scope footage as I take full time hunting KZfaqr, Matt Dubber from ‪@AirArmsHuntingSA‬ out for some needed pest control! The Gen 2 ‪@ElementOptics‬ NEXUS 4-25 gets a work out in lowlight.

I love watching the real-time scope cam footage of Matt shooting! Not only does it show what an awesome shooter he is, but very good education for the rest of us to see when he waits, or when to hurry up & take the shot, and where exactly he's aiming! Thank you very much for these videos! ✌️

Glad you enjoyed it. You can see he is used to hunting elusive monkeys! I will say that I prefer a bit more time and stability when hunting animals but as you say.. he is a very experienced shooter!

Love watching your videos mate 👍🏼 especially the deer ones, in Tassie there are 1000s of these bloody wallaby they are a huge pest !! Good dog tucker tho, I’m sorry but I had to laugh when matt said the 6 creed is the perfect wallaby cartridge 😂 come on man the furthest shot was 250! This is easy headshot distance even for little 223 👍🏼 keep up the good work.

Thanks man! Much appreciated 🙏 yeah the distances were nice and easy this time round. The 6 has great knock down though. You can see that shot placement was fairly generic and with a 223 I'd of aimed a bit more head neck upper chest area to get similar results. The 6 is a bit more forgiving! My next one has similar bang flop out to 800m with my 7mm

Great stuff, I folllow Matt as well. Just shows if you can land those pills from a distance you can up your tally. I understand that the Wallabies are an issue around the Central North Island too. Keep up the good work.

It's an old laminate done by Precision Platforms here in NZ. They are very well designed. He only does carbon ones now, check my 7mm vids to see that. I absolutely rate them. Strong as hell and great design for recoil control and hard shooting positions

For us Aussies it’s hard to believe there pests. Looks like u had a heap of fun. In 2019-20 in the drought they did relax the laws and there property owner had a permit you could shoot Roos. If we didn’t a lot more would have died a slow painful death.

what silly Ozi introduced them? do you eat them? protected in Oz, but Roo's are a different story. Roo's taste great, not the big old bucks though. some places, the whole hill side looks to be moving with roo's.

Someone in waimate Introduced them for fur I think. They are great to eat in sausages and stews etc. Very lean meat

Must have been about 1971/2 I was on exercise with the Army at Waiouru and went out on patrol from a defended position. When I got back, I found my foxhole had been ransacked; my bread that I had stored was eaten! I was able to catch a glimpse of a bloody wallaby heading off into the tussock. That was the first time I saw a wallaby in the Central North Island. Since then, I understand they have really exploded in numbers. Too old to go hunting them now, but young fellas don't seem too interested these days in hunting - too happy with PlayStation!

We got hundreds of the bloody things here in the iom..we used to knock ‘em over by head shots .22 subs out to 70yrds..drop like a hot snot

Yes I usually use the 22 the most. Next episode is 22lr with an infiray thermal on it. Deadly combination for them.

It wasn't ideal for sure.. thankfully the very soft ELD-M is very explosive and dumped all that energy nicely into the femoral artery/hips. One of the great things about longer ranges shots from above is the ability to watch the animal is a follow up is needed. None was needed in this case I can assure you.
