The high flow cans do not do very well with subs. If you mostly want a can for shooting 300 blk subs for sure look else where. I do love my 7.62 Ti for 5.56 guns/300blk supers though.

Hey is there any chance you can make this device a little bit modular or double in length? I was told that each baffle would lower the sound by about 5 decibels. Is there any inch by inch comparison for your kind of model of flow thru suppressors? Thank you for your time in reading this.

Yes, but the original proprietary muzzle device was an integral part of the engineering and flow-through design of the hux/oss cans, and omitting that for the convenience of the hub mount, (while useful for attachment options) might however, not function as quietly or effectively.

The venture definitely don't have the performance of the flow series. Your going to trade the hub compatibility for performance. Hux even said the can is almost as good as the flow 762 ti.

I’ve been waiting for this review from this channel. I didn’t think much of huxwrx until recently, and I didn’t think the flow 762 Ti meant much to me but it seems great. I’m excited for a flow 556 Ti that builds on this, which I imagine would come next on HuxWrx’s list. Now if they make a Ventum in 45 cal to compete with the DeadAir Primal and SiCo Hybrid 46, I’ll be able to get all the cans I can hope for

@SG10314 for short barrel stuff I'd recommend the brake, but the 556 muzzle devices work with either 556 or 762 hux cans, but the 762 only work with 762 versions

Not a bad idea, but it's more on platform than caliber. For instance a 308 bolt gun would be a long baffle can for optimum sound performance, but a semi auto 308 would probably be this can. Thanks for watching!

i have the oss 556. its great and my gun runs like its not even on it.. but its not that quiet. you can shoot with out ear pro but it wont feel good after like 4 shots

Hi Guys, Great Vids! Need some direction./advice. Just got my first AR - Daniel Defense DDM4 PDW - and am now shopping for a kick a$$ suppressor to complete the set up. How would this HuxWrx Flow 726 Ti perform on the DDM4 PDW? I've done a bunch of research on cans and dang it's hard. I like the length, weight, and gas reduction, but its hard to find "ear db stats/comparisons on 300 blackout. Pew hasn't done a review on 300 blackout subs for the Hux Flow 762 Ti. Appreciate any and all advice/recommendations.

I will argue that the Griffin armament dual-lok 7 flow through is better from watching this video due to all of the benefits being equal, but only two major differences the Dual-lok 7 sounds way better with subson 300blk and it looks better would like y’all to do a comparison video

I am curious about how much of the gasses are trapped in the suppressor relative to the gas content that manages to go straight thru the bore aperture. These cans are quiet, but I suspect they still can't hold a candle to the good ol' suppressors with wipes.

The Flow 762 seems like it would be REAL HOT, based on the design that pushes the hot gas out just below the exterior wall of the can. Probably after a modest 10 or so rounds, let alone a full day at the range, shooting 100+ rounds. One other thing, unless I just missed it- is it full auto capable?

Ti has similar heat capacity to steel(per unit weight), so this can(being ~40% lighter) have much less total heat capacity compared to a steel can of the same design. Huxwrx's marketing is really trying hard hinting that it can handle some pressure but also showing quite a bit of bolt gun usage. I'm not sure which way they are trying to go and why bolt guns need an expensive flow-through can. Sure, it can take some abuse w/o blowing up, but grade 5 ti is just that, can't cheat heat erosion. You can see here if you mag dump or do full auto, it will start eating itself real fast. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gNCFiqqHta2Ukac.html It really depends on what the standards are. I consider a can to be a failure if it starts to spark or throw fireballs or become significantly louder. Even their CNC 17-4 SS cans only has 10k-20k service life and should be let cool after every 3 mag dumps.

Can you elaborate more on the differences between the ventum and flow 762 ti when you say performance? How much difference are we talking here? Like a decibel or two in sound performance? Do you get a little gas blowback as opposed to none with the flow?

The larger effective volume is the key here. But grade 5 Ti just can't handle high-volume fire and/or SBR. At least not for longevity when those can already don't have a very long service life. That's why they made flow556k with SS. It makes less sense to use a flow-through can on a single-shot caliber, but I guess it is still cool and somewhat effective, therefore some people would buy that. I really wish they could figure out how to do those with a 17-4 core so it can be way tougher and less sparky.

@@___meph___4547 I got the hxqd 762 Ti and 556 Ti because they both have steel core. OSS told me the ratings are about the same between those and pure steel ones. That's why I wish they could figure out how to do the same to the new flow design.

In the video with the 7.62 Flow on your AK it appears there is a very small gap between the muzzle device and the front sight post as if the muzzle device can’t be screwed on any further. Is this the case? I’m having the same issue with my Wasr 10 and the muzzle device for my 7.62 Flow where it becomes fully tightened before screwing onto the last 1-2 threads just wanted to know if this was normal or causes any issues?

Yeah it’s normal. If I understand what you’re asking correctly, the mount has an internal shoulder in it because the rifle really doesn’t. This allows the mount to bottom out internally hopefully still being concentric. I’d check it with a rod if possible but if the rod says you’re aligned go nuts! Thanks for watching!

@@AlabamaArsenal yes that is exactly what I experienced was the mount bottoming out itself where I can no longer tighten it down any further. Just wanted to make sure something wasn’t wrong. I will double check with a cleaning rod to make sure it all appears right thank you.

Nomad L is stupid quiet. On my 9" SOLGW barrel with a SA adjustable gas block it bleeds off excessive gas so it doesn't dirty up the gun as much and less to the face . Very pleasant to shoot. Now on my 8.2 " Roscoe manufacturing barrel with a regular gas block it gasses me out 😂

@timowens7214 been thinking of doing a build (whenever I get out of NY) of an 8-10" 300blk with the rifle speed adj. gas system and the silent capture recoil buffer for the basic set up, will get more specialized stuff later but ultimately want the best ear performance but also best multi use can.

@@ricardojustiniano4942flow through cans are not the best option for subsonic rounds. However if your other hosts are sensitive rifles like SCARs or AR10s I would take the hit on the subsonic rounds since they're already significantly quieter. The only thing I'd say to be aware of going that way is 300blk guns might not cycle well

How was the titanium sparking on the can? I believe that the manufacturer says after 200 rounds it should stop. Did you do any night shooting that would cause you to notice the sparking?

We never shot any of the first 200 at night so we never noticed it. I made a note to do that with the Ventum and it is noticeable if you shoot some of the first rounds at night. I would also say it burns off quicker than 200 rounds but they probably just say that many to be on the safe side. Basically I would say it’s a non issue because it definitely goes away after a short break in period. Thanks for watching.

Haven't shot it with NV yet but the one we ran yesterday had a significant drop in ti flash over the first 100 or so rounds.

Explain what a flow-through suppressor is. I thought all suppressors flowed gasses through.

I thought I pretty well explained it in the video but where a baffle can traps gas a flow through suppressor never traps the gas but slows it down and allows it to cool while diverting it through many series of coils. Watch the video, the visual aid helps. Thanks for watching!

Gosh, it still sounds loud as hell with 300blk subs, not really any better than what I have heard from my HX-QD 762. In no way would I ever consider the Flow556k. I'll be picking up a CAT ODB, WB, or both.

Another rich boy toy. The prices are three times the cost of any gun I have. Given a choice, I will be putting saved pennies into a thermal. Being a left handed left eye dominant shooter, the gas in the face is an issue. I appreciate the technology but for something with no moving parts costing that much in comparison to the gun it's attached to. Then wait for a year for ATF to get off their bureaucratic ass before you can use it. No, I'll add some to this and buy a low end thermal and go pig hunting.
