Congrats on all the 10’s you got. I really like the fact you actually comment back to the people here on your channel. So many KZfaq channels don’t and they are missing out on building any sense of a communty. Short sighted on their part and very wise for you to do so.

Psa is a joke now, what there doing to all Of us as customer is ridiculous. They are giving out low grades on purpose and to wait a year is even more ridiculous. I have been using hga and they have proven to be the better company

I sent a card into PSA 3 times on purpose. First time it got a 8.5. 2nd time it got a 7.5 and the 3rd time it got a 9. The SAME card. Now I did this with a few companies and the only company that was consistent was GMA. Card got a 8.5 all three times. Yeah it cost some $ to do this but if down the road I plan on sending hundreds if not thousands of cards to get graded I want to know what Im working with. Id use anyone over PSA.

I don't know if it's the memories of your first PSA submission, the sitting on the floor again or the blast of energy/different noises when revealing each card (especially the 10's) but you're one of my favorite to watch for a PSA reveal. Haha

The LeBron card is a prime example of the need to put subgrades on the slab like other companies do. Especially for the amount of money you give them and the time it takes to get them back. They give you a 2 and no one knows why, I wonder how they can explain a number that low on a card like that. Subgrades are essential.

I compare the sound of those raw slabs clinging together to nails on a chalkboard.....

Another great video man. Nice return. I love seeing obviously off-centered PSA 9s. Even PSA 10s are often far from perfect. PSA is a total joke. People wonder why PSA is backed up so badly. When buyers stop over-paying for high pop count base card PSA 9s and 10s, then we will have another needed 'market correction'. Why do people buy high pop count PSA junk?

Nice Brad! Also, if you aren’t already, use thick card sleeves when sleeving (esp. the paper cards). It’s a lot softer and almost impossible to damage the card. They will fit into semi rigid card holders too.

I pretty much exclusively collect hockey and vintage baseball so I don't know anything about a lot of those players and or sets/brands, however I'm kinda baffled why anyone would submit an obviously off-centered card off for grading, at least modern card?.. I mean I get if a card is slightly o/c like 65/45 or even 60/40 but a couple of those were questionable.. And I get it - centering can be difficult to assess with some modern cards just because of the card layout/design so you never really know - not only that but grading is a very subjective idea. What I usually do is assess/grade my cards, take notes if needed - then wait a day or even a week to let me clear my head then go back and do it again and see if I agree with my original assessment - then submit them.. It might sound silly but it does really help because you may not notice everything on your first look... Not only that but I would recommend really giving your cards a full examination - complete with the magnifying glass/jewelry loop and even a black light - you're going to want to use the same tools these professional grading services use, because if you don't you'll certainly miss something... But I get it - sometimes it doesn't matter just as long as you get an 8 or higher you're making money - but even then that's no excuse because you'll make more money if you get a 9 or 10 obviously, lol... Also, I'm really baffled how centering is almost a non-issue. I mean I've seen some significantly off-centered cards get pretty high undeserving grades and I'm always blown away by it... I mean would you rather have a noticeably o/c PSA 9 or a perfectly centered PSA 8 with a flaw you need a jewelry loop to spot?... That's one of the major flaws with most of the professional grading services - they treat centering like it's not a major aspect of a cards overall grade - when the reality is that centering is one of the major parts of not only a cards grade but aesthetics of the card to boot, at least in my opinion.. Also, keep in mind that centering is one of the few flaws a card can have that collectors have no control over. Just my .02 cents.

Aloha Brad! Man, I remember watching your PSA submission video back in November. I would have felt the same way back then, but now that I’m more versed in the hobby, I’d be okay with lower grades than 10 especially on older cards myself.

that 2 LOL... there's no way... even if there's three huge creases across the whole card you can only see in the light. Wonder if they mixed up the labels or something

The Lebron 2 has a crease. Can see if better on the back top corner has heavy crease.

Some of those 9s on the Select at beginning of video are very OC. You got generous grades on those.

Congrats on that sick submission. Lots of people have been.l reporting much lower results, so I'm nervous.

Fun video! It is a different game with the new costs of grading, the lack of PSA and Beckett at affordable rates, and the different options and their shaky/lagging/unknown values at this point

I agree with you, Kyle Conner is a stud but doesn’t get the hobby love because he plays in Winnipeg. Tampa bay doesn’t get much love like some of the players should either. Especially after winning back to back cups, ugh! There are two the cup rookie monumental patches for sale of Brayden point and no one has snatched them up, which doesn’t make sense since they usually go quickly but I think the lack of lighting love has something to do with it.

I think alot of times with Paninis chrome cards, the edges can be rough, especially top edges..people don't notice the edges on Chromes as much I don't think

I agree about the red border on psa that’s why I’ve been thinking about hga for grading plus it’s all done by computers so the grades are more consistent. It kills card value though 🤷🏽‍♀️
