@@wxstednxghts yes I completely agree! I hope she doesn't feel anymore guilt after this because she shouldn't, it's obviously his fault from the start. However, from the sound of it, they have built a close relationship between each other in which it seems like they both might really care about and possibly love each other....at this point it sounds like he needs to talk to his wife and settle things and figure out who he wants to be with (and make sure that the girl who shared this secret doesn't try to take blame for it), because if they are really in love then why can't they be together? They deserve happiness and I feel awful for the wife and kids, but all of them will be miserable if they don't sort out their feelings properly. I hope they figure it out and find a way to be happy, with or without each other

to the one with the older workplace lover, honey u a victim, as a person that has been in your shoes, being a minor and being freshly 18 is not much different, he still had an advantage in the relationship's power dynamic AND he made the first move in a non-asking way based on the secret. I know you still care for him and that just further supports it. What would an almost thirty-year-old with a whole life want with someone who is freshly 18? Im sorry for being blunt but i could hear that the guilt is eating at u, and u don't deserve that. You deserve better. You are worthy, he knew what he was doing. You deserve to heal !

As someone in the cybersecurity community it's really easy to hack Into Webcams and security cameras and other related things. It's not only 100% possible but it's really easy and it's been done a lot. There's an blog that literally step by step shows how to do it so people can protective themselves from it correctly. Use camera covers or use paper and tape on the camera. Always check your security settings especially when it comes to what each app on your phone has access to.

@@TheNoiseySpectator irl therapy is not accessible for everyone, is expensive and for a lot of people/ places it’s taboo (like i said in my original comment) so virtual therapists are the only/best option for some ppl. it’s just a shame that things like better help ruin that and that so many people happily promote them for the right price, despite knowing the endless negative experiences better help has created for so many people

As someone who’s been cheated on by a friend of my bf: it is ALWAYS your place as the other person. You’re the only other one that knows what’s going on. If you have even the slightest pang of regret, ask yourself: “if this was my husband, would I rather live in ignorant bliss or be told the truth?” The answer is usually truth. Edit: the other person didn’t tell me because it “wasn’t their place” yet tried showing me screenshots on screenshots of them talking to other people about it to prove they “felt guilty”. If you truly felt guilty you’d drop the bomb even if you’ll blow up too. Refusing to drop the bomb is proof you’re scared of being caught. If you actually felt guilty you’d care enough about what your actions have done to an unsuspecting person who believes their marriage/ relationship is sound to fix the mess you helped create. This doesn’t apply ONLY to people who didn’t know they were being the other woman. But once you do find out, this now applies.

The "Going Public" secret honestly seriously sounds like she was assaulted in her first sexual encounter with this guy. Describing it as suddenly happening, didn't expect it, kinda confused, was consciously not going into this relationship with that in mind, and critically, HE DID NOT ASK FOR AND WAIT FOR CONSENT!!!!!! JEEZUS. People, fucking, ask others if they want to have a sexual encounter with you, and not in your car in a parking lot at night, because they can't escape without making a scene and may even feel in danger if they don't agree. And if they're not enthusiastically verbally consenting, in a situation in which they are safe to withdraw and can easily withdraw, stop asking. If they're not verbally saying 'yes' and physically engaging with enthusiasm, then they haven't consented. Take it as a "No" and quit.

The married man secret made me almost faint bc I was absolutely head over heels for a married man 11 years older than me also and also a coworker of mine. He would talk to me everyday, flirted with me, helped me with whatever I needed help with, have me listen to romantic music that the lyrics sounded a lot like our weird relationship, but we never did anything besides him getting really close to my face and touched my waist a lot and touched my hand a lot and would just make excuses to touch me or be around me all the time. All our coworkers would see everything between us, even people who's worked here for years would say "I've never seen him that happy" or "I've never seen him smile so much" or "I've never seen him stare at someone as much as he stares at you" and everyone made jokes about "we argue like a married couple" or "go talk to your girlfriend" to him. It sounded so similar that I LEGIT thought she was reading a secret I havent submitted. We dont talk at all anymore bc after a year and a half of him getting really close and romantic with me while telling me how miserable he is with his wife and how she would make excuses to not even let him sleep in their bed together or celebrate their anniversary, he said out of nowhere "I didnt mean for her to get feelings, I was just being nice" BWUAHAHAHHA WHAT Dont bash me, I havent done anything nor tried to do anything with him bc I knew he was married, I just felt so bad for him bc he legit is miserable in his marriage and stays just for their 2 kids he doesnt even know if they are his or not. I stayed back when he initiated everything for me to develop very strong feelings for him. I just never felt love for someone like that before so ofc I'd fall head over heels, I just never flirted unless he flirted back. Yes, I know it was wrong, but we havent talked to eachother besides one word since he said he was "just being nice" bc I refuse to talk to him or even look at him anymore. It does still hurt deep down, I still care about him and I still love him deep down, I just didnt expect this to happen so I just let him go after me. His wife cheats all the time, not saying that makes it valid, but he said and I quote, "my wife can cheat, I cant" and that's ridiculous. Hes obviously miserable but I'll let him be miserable bc I'm over it just for the fact he can be miserable if he chooses, I'm not gonna wait around for a man I could possibly never have.

I want to speak with as much kindness toward the call section with the 18 year old and and the married man. This is not your guilt to carry. It is this mans responsibility to know when to stop this relationship if it is unhealthy. Yes, you are of age; however, what does a 30 something have in common with an 18 year old? This is not to dig at you, especially because you care so much. However, he should have the guilt because he knows what he's doing. If he is feeling unfulfilled in his relationship it is his issue and not yours. Of course you have the choices you've made to continue this, and I applaud you for trying to step away from this. You are not horrible, and you really are trying your best. You deserve love, and I hope you find empathy for yourself in this situation too. You deserve to be the first and only option from someone that's available for you and NOT using you at all. That's not to say this man doesn't care, but he is selfish for putting you in this situation. I am so angry for you because you don't have to carry his guilt and yours. I am still listening to the section, and I don't want to speculate, but I HOPE when he put his hands down your pants that it was consensual; if it wasn't that just SPEAKS to the person that that man is.

@@emilyjane9901 I think I paid like $80/month (upfront) several years ago, which was with maximum financial aid. I only did the one month and then quit. It wasn’t especially helpful for me, but I have a “complex” case and had done years of therapy before then. If you just need help with simple depression/anxiety or interpersonal issues and can’t access something else, I could see it being useful, but I wouldn’t expect anything beyond basic supportive therapy for common issues. And if you have insurance, it’s certainly not going to be any more affordable (and will likely be more expensive) than a covered provider.

I am not surprised that this is such a great and entertaining series from the very beginning. Am so happy that this is a thing now. I truly enjoy her content so it means a lot to me to be able to have a Creator with platforms I am able to go to and spend some good times of my life enjoying.

I agree. Alyx does a better job of animating them with her voice acting skills than the submitter when calling them in.

I really think the wife of the man should know that he cheated for sooooo many reasons. Not the least of which is that I believe it would really help their marriage, either by ending a bad marriage, or forcing them to participate in counseling and understand how to offer each other what they need in the relationship. Taking your feelings and needs elsewhere in secret is not really a valid solution to any relationship problem. Being in a relationship with someone who doesn't feel comfortable telling me literally anything would never work for me.
