Its a glint of hope for me. Being 29 now feels like the light is starting to shine through a very thick veil of hopelessness and emotional trauma that kept me in the dark with an immature mindset. It feels like coming out of a cocoon and starting to see what life really is. They say your 30s is about living in the moment, versus in your 20s is about disregarding possibilities and living as though you're invulnerable to consequence.

@@manosijroy8282 honestly I was the same way, except I had a girlfriend. The quarter life crisis is real and I don't think it's paid enough attention. I felt "old" and like I had just kind of tripped into adulthood one day and I needed to get it all together and figure it out now before it was too late. I ended up rushing into some adult responsibilities I wasn't ready for and that was a mistake.

Did you get an official diagnosis or just self diagnosed? I'm 95% sure I'm autistic but I can't justify paying $3,000 or more for an official diagnosis.

@@Yarcofin I 100% self diag within 99.99% probability. there are just certian things, the dsm- doesnt actually diag people either with accuracy. and even doctors say self diag is valid for many reasons. im not paying 3k either. and like. does a gay dude need to get a diag for being gay? no. you know yourself better than anyone. its the comorbidities that are harder to self diag with. my life has 1005 got better since I have self diag. everything is a fits like a lock and key now. and the coping mecanisms work better. A huge thing, comparing your lived exps to others that have been diag before. asberger reddit or autism reddit is a decent place. common sayings too. for me what triggered the entire thing. I googled in frustration, everyone misunderstands me and all my good intentions are assumed to be bad. First link, Asperger reddit. I did a double take, was not looking for answers. Then once I kinda started to see the symptoms, and comparisions. I watched hour long videos on it. then started intense 8-12 hour research sessions into everything about it. and like, only someone with autism would sit at their pc for 12 hours obsessed with something like this, not move or eat, or use the bathroom. Also common sayings, things like Im an alien on a planet of humans I didnt get the instruction manual at birth no one understands my true self no one knows me making people mad when you think youre having a nice conversation. but they explode at you and say theyre done arguing. when youre simply asking questions sensory sensitivities. some things are either of or on all the way. its mostly social issues and a bad working memory., My long term, powerful filmographic. working shrot term? im cant even remember what planet im on.
